@Roland TuasonI think it's not about experiencing extreme weather, as a tropical country it isnt normal for everyone to experience a sort of breeze like that especially if you live in a concrete jungle. Anyway, I do love Canada but not during winter lol. Hopefully, I can explore more that place loves driving again around the Rockies. Too many to offer that country, it feels home too. Kababayan OFWs are everywhere.

He is 100% right and YOU are wrong. MOST filipinos cant afford to go spend 100 pesos on coffee MOST filipinos live on minimum wage and make at most 10-15k a month in pesos. 100 pesos for a coffee is too much to those folks.
Now if your a filipino making 50-100k in manila and your fortunate to have that work sure 100 pesos no problem.

I hope the Tagaytay recovered since the volcano in taal lake has exploded last January. I'm there when the volcano erupted and its raining mud with small pieces of rocks.
Tagaytay City is not in Batangas, it's in Cavite. It only has a good vantage point for Taal Volcano, which is in Batangas.
Drew Itou tagaytay is cut in two. The beautiful tagaytay is in batangas.

The higher part of Tagaytay belong to Cavite and the lower part belong to Batangas.
@@renatopoblete5738 the whole of Tagaytay city is in Cavite province. Walang pong Tagaytay, Batangas. The lower part of land going towards the lake is mostly part of Laurel town, Batangas. That is not Tagaytay anymore.

That Starbucks is actually looking over a massive volcano I’m pretty sure, that lake used to be a giant volcano, and the smaller volcano inside the island erupted earlier this year in January
Since you are in Tagaytay , did you go to the Antonio's Restaurant ? It is an old filipino family house converted into a restaurant . Ask maybe the locals . It is not direct in a road . Keep safe ! Enjoy !

Kindly share your reference. As far as I know, Tagaytay City is geographically located and politically affiliated to the province of Cavite. The mayor, vice mayor, city councilors, representative to congress are residents of Cavite. Even the electorate is considered residents of Cavite, they are even qualified to vote for the provincial political posts of Cavite (not Batangas). They’re locations (SMDC Wind Residences and starbucks just across Primark Mall) are all considered part of Cavite. I don’t know why bother saying that Tagaytay City was formerly part of Batangas or half of it is currently part of Batangas (which I still doubt, unless it is not residential/commercial). I would know because all my life I reside near Tagaytay City, on the adjacent town called Indang.

just my opinion, there's a much better starbucks in tagaytay and bigger! for me, it also has the best view as well! it's like 10 - 15 mins away (by car) from that starbucks! you should try it!

we have something similar to that here in Bacolod..local coffee shop..best native coffees with kakanins to go with it..your legs are literally dangling on the cliff and the view is all mountains and fogs..one of the most visited coffee shop here in Negros. 🥰

The best Starbucks in Tagaytay is at Twin Lakes, they have a very nice garden below.
If you like tagaytay site maybe next time try Marilaque highway in Rizal province also like an hour from Manila...mountain roads, great view, cool weather, great nature sight seeing, nice cafes but less developed than tagaytay road but longer...
Hopefully the sky becomes clear blue to bring out the most stunning view ever possible

FYI the Starbucks in the Phillipenes are owned by a Portuguese company. In the Manila area where we are there are lot’s of great stores all over. Much better than the typical stores in California or most other places for that matter.
That's in SMDC Winds Residences in Tagaytay, Cavite, nice condo units for rent and much cheaper than the other lodges around.
And an eyesore for being oversized and having a boring architecture.
