Beautiful. Love the chain idea. So unique. You are very clever. I saw a woman use an earring back to hold beads together on stick pun while glue dries. Thought it was a good idea too. Thx for video. Austin,TX USA
Hi Cara - I watch alot of tutorials for various crafts and I wish everyone was so organized and succinct while still being as detailed as you are! You are a joy to learn from. And hey, yes that 2nd hatpin definitely looked like a snowman. I noticed it even before you said you thought so, lol.
Thank you for this video, Cara. I never knew to use Glossy Accents, and I think it will be easier than using hot glue. Also you did the chain the same way I do, which made me feel better about it, lol! Also, thanks for the drying tip. Rozzella
Beads, bead caps etc. I find at Michaels, Joann Fabrics, at local bead stores, online etc. Charms I mainly buy at Michaels or online. The hatpins I believe I found on Artfire (sort of like Etsy) from a seller called Songbird…if I remember correctly. Hopefully that will get you started…I do a lot of Google searches when I am looking for supplies…good luck!
Thank you for this great video. I have 12 hatpins to decorate and I've got 2 questions. 1) Do I need to use light weight beads - such as acrylic beads - or can I use crystal and glass beads? and 2) Can I use my E6000 glue or is the Glossy Accents glue better? Thank you so much in advance. xoxoxoxox 🙂❤❤❤❤❤
Hi! I used all kinds of beads on the hat pins. I don’t have much experience with E6000 glue so I can’t really say much about that. The few times I used it, for other things, it was much thinker than Glossy Accents.
Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner...getting messages from YT is hit or miss for me lately. I believe I found those on Etsy...can't remember the specific seller but I shopped from a ton of different shops. Sorry I can't be more specific.
I always wondered if the beads needed to be glued... thanks for the video, perfect length (not too long!).

Dianne Watson Thank you so much for the awesome comment!
These are beautiful...so festive. Tfs, Debbie
I never would have thought to use a bracelet bead board to make stick pins. That's freakin' ingenious! :)
Lol…not really but thanks! Happy holidays!
Great job. These are so pretty. The new owners are going to love them.
tfs hugs, Debi
I hope so…TFW!

Beautiful. Where do you get your supplies. I'm just starting out these look like a lot of fun.

Beautiful hatpins Cara. TFS! Hugs, Mary
New subscriber. Are your crystals Swarovski or Czech glass? Swarovski seems a little expensive fir thus kind of project.

Great video, thank you! Does the Glossy Accents hold up over time? Like, do the beads stay tight or do they loosen after using the pin a lot?
Mine have been fine but I haven’t been very rough on them.
Very nice. Love your tutorials.
Can you tell me where you get the caps on the ends Love love love your pins and videos
