I appreciate the openness about how you feel because we all feel ups and downs and it makes one feel less alone in feeling low from time to time. I am feeling weird after coming back from a short trip to the Netherlands. Don't know wether this is the blues after having a blast or wether I am exhausted from it or wether it's something else.

Stormy Day! I especially love the blue liquid pencil color as well as the red ochre. I am also quite interested in the ArtGraph product. I have some of Derwent's Graphitint watercolors and pencils, which are quite an interesting combination of color with graphite. I wonder if the ArtGraph could be combined with watercolor to achieve a similar result. It looks like it is a very rich and creamy product so it might be too overpowering for watercolors, but it would be interesting to see what might happen, especially if it were used sparingly.

Geeking on art supplies is my favorite thing to do on a stormy day!What inspired me the most were those liquid graphites, like you said, they seem to be ideal to layer and use as a base or background! Always a pleasure to spend some relaxing time with you!

Always both your paints are thought out, palettes are unique, and neither of you are not buying a set of whatever to "complete your collection" or to review. It is refreshing!

The book you showed reminds me a bit of the art of Brecht Evens. He typically mixes far more colors than what I think it would be your preference, but sometimes he does nice monochrome / limited palette watercolor urban surrealistic illustrations you may enjoy.

Khaki as I know it is a sand colour but in fashion they seem to call green khaki. (I guess from the uniforms - as you said. Possibly because combat uniforms actually do have sand colour in them.)
