I've also gotten into some odd ball land deals. There was a tiny lot like that next to my house that I'd never seen anyone do anything to it so I mowed it for 15 years just so my house looked better. It was to small to build anything on. On a slow day I went to the court house and found out no one had paid taxes on that land for 20 plus years because it was useless. They had never had a tax sale because they knew no one would buy it. I put in a bid for $100.00, got the property and they eat the taxes due, because now they had someone that was going to be paying them. Another time when I just a young I was in my uncles office that was a realtor just for a visit when a guy walked in to talked to him about a tiny property he had been stuck with when his uncle had died. He lived out of town, had no use for it, was paying taxes on it, and it was to small to build on. He said I'll take anything for it. My uncle looked at me and said write this man a check for $500.00, I had about $12.00 at the time in my account. I handed the man the check and my uncle after he left handed me $600.00 in cash. Turns out my uncle owned the lot next that he could not sell because it was to small. Have you approched the people on the sides of this property about buying it?
I like that you personally are telling people up front about the taxes and liens. I bought a property from a person on your website and I asked them about any liens beforehand and they lied the entire time while we were making payments.
an 50 miles from any grocery store and $1,800 to $2,000 a year in property taxes,I can do better got some swampland in Louisiana, full of alligators, and if y'all ain't never had no deep fried gator y'all don't know what y'all missing, with that hot sauce in Cajun seasoning too, mane😁
Where humble pie is this one?? Just don't pay the taxes on it with in Arkansas this is Arkansas it's like two years of not paying the taxes in the state takes properties away
How did this happen to you? I thought we all are supposed to do our due diligence in checking out monies due, etc.? Did I miss your explanation? Frightening to think that I could buy my dream empty lot and get a bill like this. 😢
The data is not avialable when I buy them so I buy them by the hundreds and some come out like this and some come out just great. The bad ones I just deed off to people I don't like usually politicians of let the tax collectors take them back for not paying the taxes on them.
