For the hood issue, I am with you on the hinge part. I add to all my printers to handles on the top and one on the back. First off, with sticky gloved fingers, touching the hood is stupid, so any smudges will be on the handles.
The back handle serves a weird purpose for me. I added a hook on the wall behind the printer, so I just lift it up, put it on the hook and voila ! No additional space on the table required, yet the hood is still right above the printer.

Thanks you very much for making this video. I have been having major problems with my prints because the settings were off. I was able to set them to your suggested settings and the first print was a major success. Bravo Zulu to you.

For the Zeroing oddity, I actually prefer the up being zero. This prevents the platform from crashing after power cuts or what ever disaster. If there is anything still attached to the print plate or floating in the resin, this prevents damage.

Thank you for this video, I actually just got this model on christmas! No experience whatsoever so it really gave me the confidence I needed to print my first figurine. I really like the machine so far

Looking to buy this model before tye sale ends. How did your prints come out compared to actually buying them?
I want one to print warhammer minis but wanna know how close it gets to the detail of actual minis

If it wasn't told already in the comments:
@17:57 Small thing, you dont mension where the password was coming from! Kinda had to find a way to google that and figure it out!
For those that want to know, its the password in the printer at @15:38 in the setting "Device Control"

Have you had to replace the FEP yet? I noticed on my Halot-ONE that they decided to "simplify" the process by removing the ring that the FEP goes into before attaching to the bottom of the vat. Unfortunately that ring is what allows you to adjust the tension of the FEP, meaning it's almost impossible to fine-tune your FEP. I think that's what causes the wrinkles in the FEP, since I've only had those on Halots, never on any of my other 3 resin printers.

Have you heard of people finding Halot Box doesn’t detect the printer? The printer is on the network, does the update, but will not appear in the slicer.

Wish you show how loud the motor is

You can definitelly hear it but it's quite silent. If I can compare it I would say some HDDs in PC are much more louder and a graphic card working under high performance (not water cooling :-) ) is on another (higher) level.

Just bought one and my first print was an absolute disaster, nothing printed correctly despite spending a few hours using chitubox to check for islands etc. Halotbox is just too slow and buggy, and I'm already using a gaming rig to run it. With all the bad smell and mess, looks like resin printing isn't for me. 🤣🤣

      oh no!
i reccomend using the lychee slicer in the future, the halot software is notoriously bad. it took me a bit of figuring out what was going on with my printer, but having access to a resin printer is so nice!
