I recently brought the deeper sonar chirp +2 and i dont think its charging tried connecting to it aswell and doesnt seem to work. (I followed the instructions)
Hello! We just introduced our new product - Deeper Quest bait boat. Always working on new innovations, but cannot say when any new sonar models are coming. At the moment, CHIRP+2 is the newest and the best castable sonar model you can find.
Hi! It depends on the depth of the river, so just try switching between scanning beams. Make sure you reel in slow and steady, if sonar tilts, you may lose the connection.
Another thing...iff you use any deeper and drag it behind ur rc boat...make sure the boat controller does not run on 2.4 ghz. The boat controller will mess up ur conection with the deeper signal.
Well apparently it will only connect to certain smartphones just to be aware if buy this device I had 6 people try and pair with it and they couldn’t do it

Whats the top attachment is use for?
The top attachment position is used in ice fishing and to attach sonar to flexible mounts used for boats, or sonar holder for bait boat.
