MTV´s Headbanger´s Ball video, Vanessa Warwick interview with Mike Amott and Jeff Walker
Short clips from "Buried Dreams", "This Mortal Coil" and " Heartwork"
Good grief this was almost 20 years ago! I remember when Heartwork was new... God I'm old!
Wow, now 30 years lol
When Michael was in a good band
Lol, yeah!
I clicked on this video because I thought Carcass got Macaulay Culkin to be in their band. I then found out the Macacaulay Culkin clone is really Mike Amott.
And the new album was titled "Heartwork" and it is the best metal album of all times, in my opinion.
100% true
Pushed the envelope for extreme metal for sure! Bought it when it came out, still listening. Nuff said
The Monster Magnet T shirt was a sign of where Amott's head was at.
He left the band not long after this and formed Spiritual Beggars
Michael Amott when he played real metal
You can't be serious. Doomsday Machine is one of the best modern metal albums ever.
100%
Awesome. Killer interview. Thanks for posting it. Much appreciated. Hail Carcass. Long Live Ken Owen.
Jeff is cute. Back then, still is!
Haha! Now that is old school, "for futher info write to us at earache records"
MIKE AMOTT!!
Carcass at their peak. 😊
its funny to me that mike ammott sounds like he has a british accent even though he is from sweden.
I believe he was born in the UK and his mother is English..but don't quote me on that. Lol
that would make sense. ammott doesn't sound swedish to me, but what do i know...
michael his father is english he was born in sweden but a month later they moved for 5 years to england
@@patrickvankerkhove7192 well he also speaks swedish and did and i interview in that language but his accent in that doesn't appear that much
He definitely has a Swedish accent. Maybe it's easier to hear for a Swedish person, I dunno, but it's definitely there. Remember he only lived in England for a few years compared to 40+ in Sweden.
@chiaromontestephen i was in a record store a few weeks ago and found the key. right when i saw i bought it and never regret purchasing. amazing record
@chiaromontestephen Awesome, dude. Thanks for the comments. Much appreciated. Nocturnus, now that's a band that I really want to check out. I don't think I'll be much into Thesholds but The Key is something I definitely want to hear. Just hope that Earache reissues it one day. I don't have the album. So I'll have to listen to it on TH-cam. Hails and horns.
HEARTWORK!
I saw Carcass in 1993 right when Heartwork came out & Michael Ammott had just left the band. Mike Hickey their guitar tech was playing second guitar.
That's very true! :)
That's so true
Mike wearing a Monster Magnet t-shirt, awesome, Carcass rules \m/
@chiaromontestephen Awesome. Thanks. Right now, I'm just too busy. As for Mike Browning, I already know his history with Morbid Angel. That band is one of my top favorite death metal bands of all time along with Malevolent Creation, Cannibal Corpse and Deicide. Mike now has his own band called After Death. The video for the song The Star Chamber Of Isis is here on TH-cam. The song and video kick ass.
I can't believe Mike is only 23-24 years old here, he looks a bit older.
:) Vanessa
lol at that chick telling Amott to shave his beard off. These days, beards are in. Amott has a British accent? Funny how later on it turns back to a Swedish accent when he joins Arch Enemy.
It is strange how Mtv became so mainstream.
it always was, its strange how media technique stopped even trying being "human" All those shows, all those people they portray.. you always had a part of the content that was accessible and parts that werent "videos" and this just bled into each other and became very not accessible.
It was a good album heart works but their best album was necroticism disenchanting that album Kick-Ass then again they all did
03:47 Carcass...and nothing else matters! LOL
Some young bucks back in the day, when HARDCORE, was actually HARDCORE!!
He wears the same T-Shirt like Burton C. Bell in an interview on Dynamo with the same girl how common...
She is HOT!
Fuck, did anyone else hear Nothing Else Matters in the background around like 2:50 or something?
metallica NEVER dies.
Michael Amott before he discovered hair dye.
LMAO!!
mtv before it gaga'd
Damn guess Jeff's hair grew back really fast
That's because it wasn't Jeff it was Bill they put the wrong fucking name up or it was the drummer which had short hair
@@billcummins5801It was Jeff, listen to his voice.
What can I say.
Why did MTV change its suck now
Why does Amott look like the kid from home alone with long red hair,
Don't be a dick Michael rules and it doesn't look like the ugly ass whole Home Alone kid
Does Jeff have short hair in this interview?
Maybe he had to shave his dreads off?
He looks like home alone guy Jaja Jaja
" I wish you shave you beard altough, I think you should do that for me."
Someeoe it going to put a stick on the hole !!!
4:05 Metallica lol
Mustaine a christian , metallica a industry puppet, yet, these bands are important.
I wish you shaved your beard off though, lol
these guys are from Liverpool?
emile235 yes
close but not liverpool itself. ken and bill are from heswall and jeff from the st helens area. the cover photo of necrotisism was shot in a vet surgury in heswall village where kens dad worked
Heswall hahaha countryside
aye. quite a posh place
yeah especially those big council estates
Apparently Metallica was playing a gig that day!
@ 4:25....Jeff laughing because they're contributing less!
Cuz all TV sucks now and days!! Reality(if you want to call it that) ruined the television viewing!!
I think thats just background music from club...idiot, of corpse they were warmup band for metalicka
comment section full with hates towards other bands...ugh typical mean metalheads.
