Enormous Respect for the Brothers! In most videos they come across as just two fun, happy-go-lucky guys, but with this video I have discovered they are in fact very determined, earnest engineers who will NOT quit until even the sketchiest and poorly equipped model finally files right. Big, Big salute to Pilot Robert & Captain Blaz!!! Kudos and respect!

You said it so beautiful my friend. I will always consider myself as amateur pilot and RC plane lover but I do like to think about the planes a lot and about their enginnering. And the more problems the plane gives me the more Iam determined that I will fly it no matter what 😊 Even if I crash it totally trying. As long as I have something to fix and glue together. I almoust thought that the story with this plane was over after third attempt when the whole nose of plane was gone in pieces and the wings broke from the plane. And then when I was searching for pieces in the grass I said to myself that I will fix it and try so long that it will fly so help me God. Big salute from Slovenia and thanks for support.

@@PetrincicBrosRC Ohh Yeahhhhh..Salute.. Yesterday I also modified my motor angle (down / right) to 5 degrees using washers as a solution. that seems to be the solution when I see your video.
The servos are really weak. a servo broke while programming. 9gr. Servos with higher quality and you are on the safe side. Extraordinary to get the bobber safely back on the ground with such a rash. Respect.

When the weather gets a little better again (60kmh wind), I'll test the changes and see what's in the little bobber.
In my first video it was 12-13kmh wind. perfect for leaving you almost in the air with little use of the engine. use the flaps .. also at the start, this increases the lift.

You finally got it to fly, congratulations! Like the looks of the plane (although the fuselage is very short), but I think, that the edges of the main wing are very thick and the tail is too massive. 600 g is already light, but there seems to be still a lot of room for improvement. Glad you both did'nt give up and gave us the whole (well filmed) picture. Greetings from Germany.

You said it great my friend. There is still room to make this plane better. And I will in the winter. Will take time and check it all from spiner to the rudder what is going on here.

It is clear now also for me, the naked fuselage has effect on rudder and vertical stabilizer, the same behavior in turns as like as my printed Savage.

I am happy to see you get it in the wind finally!...but any plane that can not carry snoopy and the bunny isnt worth it!! But im sure you can send this plane to "area-52" and they can put some edf on it and make it into a stealth plane for snoopy and bunny! SALUTE!

I'm very glad you finally got to fly it. I'm trying to think of why this aeroplane would be so difficult. Do you think it might have something to do with the lack of keel surface? Keel surface (the side of the fusleage) really helps to contribute to stability in yaw. The lack of keel surface will decrease the overall weight, but seems to really make the aeroplane too difficult to fly. Well done Pilot Robert for getting this unmanageable thing in the air - You've earned the title of test pilot without a doubt!

Yes 🙌 Hi this is Deano this is my other account It’s awesome to see that sexy bird fly. I bought one too still in the box. So my question is so it will not fly with a 3s battery. And I wondered how did you set the motor angle with How many washers. And did you run the factory CG? Some day I really hope to meet you guys. I love watching your show keep it up you guys make me laugh and enjoy the hobby. Your buddy Deano

I had the same problem when I was learning to fly. the problem is called a ground loop . it happens when the wing fly's before the tail is flying . It is a problem with high wing tail draggers. we beat the problem by adding power and jerk the plan in the air.

Another honest evaluation. I wouldn’t buy it for a dollar, either. They are too important to cheap out. I like Captain Blaze’s assessment, “they should have a -0 rating.” That says it perfectly.

Glad you gents stuck with it. The plane is not for beginners for sure. Too many "bugs" to sort out. Id guess its an Advanced model for the experienced modeler who has the time. Its a really good looking bird. It might have needed a 1inch longer wing for its weight. The landing gear might need to be beefed up, and the servos might need to be replaced? Dunno? Great flight.🙂

@@PetrincicBrosRC I will love to watch the awesome video! You know I will be there. I think the savage bobber is a great kit, I think the designers should have ironed out the bugs before letting it go to market. The landing gear should be a 1 piece leaf spring like the ugly stick. and the engine angle should have been pre set. Me personally, I would have extended the wing length a 1/2 inch on both sides and made the wing chord a touch wider for more lifting surface, just a touch. Its a heavy bird which needs speed to keep it going, but the concept of this bird seems to focus on the beginner-intermediate pilot...Love watching you guys have a blast!!!!
