Saxon and the likes like Maiden did not follow mainstream radio stayed true to their sound and even after all these years still sound better than mainstream radio thanks for the artists who keep the music real so have a toast to real classic metal and those who preserve it

i was out 1 day getting. some bbq . .i walked by an open dumpster and happened 2 look in.i saw some lps.. about 15 or so.it was rush live. sabbs live evil toronto, tower of power. grand funk, accept. and about 7 Saxon lps..sti got e. stilk play em.theres a recird store in back of it or was and there promos .most. i got sabbath live at last, vol 4.. paramour. saxon was insane though

My God, Saxon are like the "Grateful Dead" of Metal...or if Frankie Beverly (of Maze) went and started a metal band instead (lol)! So damn consistent, both in the studio and live on stage. I don't even think Biff Byford gets enough credit for being one of the greatest male rock vocalists of all time and not just in the metal sub-genre, either! I like how they earned their success rather than having it heaped upon them by an unnecessary hype machine like what happened to so many acts back then and even now for that matter. LOVE this album, too! Makes me think if Led Zeppelin actually did a proper 80s "comeback" album, it would end up coming out like something on this level but that's just MY 2 cents on the subject:::wink:::wink:::well, looks like I got another metal group to add to my CD wishlist in the meantime...

Una de las peores producciones de Saxon, se escuchaban muy agringados. Se les pasó por alto que la voz de Biff no era para el estilo hard rock estadounidense.
