- Upon completion of the Thane Dombivli Link Road the travel time between Dombivli and Thane is set to reduce significantly. Additionally, it will boost real estate in the Upper Thane region which will prove to be the gateway to Mumbai. This area will not only benefit by this link road but also multiple other infrastructure projects like the Samruddhi Mahamarg, Thane-Kalyan Metro, upcoming bullet train, the Virar Alibaug Multimodal corridor to name a few. Already this Upper Thane region has presence of Grade A developers like Lodha Group who is known for the world’s finest developments and providing great lifestyle. This video explains in depth why this region will be the next growth centre and we will also look at the current status of the Thane Dombivli Link Road construction. The construction work is in the last stages with the bridge over the Ulhas creek is completed, as well as the stretch of road passing next to Lodha’s Upper Thane. The work is on at full speed to connect it to the Mumbai-Nashik highway and is expected to be completed soon. Maharastra's infra boom is probably strongest in all India states, projects like Samruddhi, PRR, Nagpur-Goa. e-way, Pune+Mumbai metros, Pune-Nashik semi high speed rail, AURIC,DFC,Delhi-MUmbai e-way, trans-harbor link and Virar-Alibaug project (Kind of like a ORR for mumbai), Navi-Mumbai airport. Only dissapointement have been slow work on Pune int airport (hopefully now with AP and DF in same gov will stop politics around this) and Goa-Mumbai highway.

Most people live in Dombivali East or near the station. Dombivali West has no infrastructure or link to actually enable people to easily reach this bridge. And judging by the speed of progress on this bridge I don’t think that kind of link will be planned or developed soon enough either. But atleast people living in the west will reach Thane sooner. Everyone else will just use the older routes. Soo Yeyy?
Well there are around 3 lac people stays in West .
Even though it will be longer route for far East people , this will definitely reduce traffic congestion on current routes
