Excellent video thanks for taking the time to make this.
You be good getting yourself a caliper rewind tool to push the piston back in! Such a handy tool!!
"Be careful not to cross-thread these ones"
*Uses powertool*
Me: okidokily
In fairness, he'd probably bedded the threads securely before whacking on the wrench 😉👌
This was helpful. Thank you
Mr bad ass mechanic 👍
Good video thanks man!
do you have to grease the brake pad ends so they slide in the calliper guids or do you leave them dry,

sounds like you got chep pad on fleabay change to motorcraft made in Mexico like original car installation in factory
Does the Mk3 use the same brake pada as the Mk2?
When pushing back the piston don’t you have to unscrew your brake fluid cap off?
That makes it easier but you definitely don’t have to
only if you want fluid to get all over your firewall and remove the paint
I know this is an old video, but I have an old car... Curious as I have similar pad wear as shown here, shouldn't it wear evenly across the pad? 🤷🏻
nothing else on the car is perfect why would the brakes wear evenly? I would give it about a 25% standard deviation from absolute evenwear
Ive got problem with mine. Braking is fine but when I go in reserve and press the brakes in squeeks. ...
I cant get the bolt holes line up with the new pads
He didn't bleed the pistons back. Why?
Never mind. He put the old ones back in.
👍🏼👏🏼
