Feminist "shaykha" distorts the Quran to spread a feminist distortion of Islam. Daniel critiques this distortion. He also brings to light Rania Awaad's history with fraudulent research, ethical violations, and her "spiritual abuse" of the Muslims in America.

Daniel, you covered Nas Daily's videos that he uploaded about learning or gaining knowledge about Judaism and Hinduism, but you didn't cover his latest video that he uploaded about gaining knowledge on Islam. Strange, what's wrong with staying home? When 'liberals' are working so hard to negate something, it tells me that it's right.
Nothing wrong except one thing, relying entirely on the husband no savings, or financial independence. So if the husband dies or he leaves or he decides to divorce him due to adultery, then what does the woman do? The wife who never worked how will
She pay her bills and feed her children ? I think we need to think practically too. I’m a mother and I did the traditional staying at home. I’m still home. Kids a little older I have free time now, so I’m thinking I need to do something part time and should have years ago. I mean who will come to my aid if something should happen to my husband ? No one! And I know benefits is not enough to live on especially if you wish children’s to thrive .
@@luluah1198 That is why Islam is a system and not only one order

We either have skills to work and survive if needed or we will watch our children suffer the conquences. Men should encourage and give time to their wives to develop some useful skill. If it is never needed, then alhamdulillah. The mental stimulation is still good for you.
Who said there is something wrong with staying at home? no need to turn words upside down.
For some silly reason those husbands who thinks women belongs at home only and should not work, ask for a female doctor when his wife needs doctor's treatment. Where these female doctors come from? descend from the sky?

30 years of being a Muslim revert. I've known of 1 unaliving in that period. A young 18 year old woman in Maldives, whose boyfriend dumped her. In her grief she chose a permanent solution for a temporary problem. It was very sad. One person only. You may notice that she was doing something questionable in Islam and many of these young ones were weak in Islam. So Muslim unaliving or effectively secular unaliving?
Liberal culture heavily affects youngsters
I think a good point here is that a lot of American Muslims are identity-only Muslims and just want to belong to the group rather than actually believe the faith

The way the sister looks down her nose at the idea of "just staying at home" is really offensive. Taking care of a home can be very difficult and respectable work. Its a very western attitude to treat it as inferior to working outside the home.
A lot of men see it as lesser work. Do you think when men said "get back in the kitchen" it was said with respect and honor? No. It was set in a mocking and derogatory way because men for centuries saw their stay at home wives as beneath them.

I once went for a job interview in which there were 2 women & 2 men interviewing me at the same time. The women said to me what have you been doing all these years?! Because I’ve been a housewife. I’m old enough to be these people’s mother! (Job title was Personal Assistant to the CEO) I looked at this woman and said raising my children! They put their noses in the air. It truly upset me. First of all where was their ethics? These were 4 Muslims that made me feel like I had not contributed anything in my lifetime. I did not want to work among them! However, I also knew I was under qualified for the job I was being interviewed for😂. It is a long funny story. But my point is how housewives are looked down on in this day and age. Which I think a house wife’s job is one of the hardest jobs in the world. There is no time off. 24/7 for the rest of her life. As the kids grow the problems get bigger. Bingo! That’s how feminism was created-it’s an economic movement aimed at getting women to join the workforce. Boggles my mind how any woman would view the additional burden of breadwinning placed upon her as a form of liberation, especially since her traditional roles are still expected to be fulfilled. It’s slavery. And the children are left to be raised by strangers…not to mention all the corruption that mixing in the workplace brings about. Some professions require female workers, and it’s totally fine, but the encouragement of women to join the corporate world is a trap.

And even if this brother is accurate in how he’s represented her work; the comments here by people who have NOT done a careful analysis of the facts- are blind following. We as Muslims are implored to be informed and educated. Yet comments are blindly following another “influencer” here. There’s a way to hold each other accountable. It appears this brother himself is allowing his emotions to override the Sunnah. He’s attempting to discredit people publicly, and slandering them. Did he ask Dalia Mogahed or Dr. Hamid to address his accusations?
The belittling language is not Sunnah. One doesn’t have to be a Shaikh to know that the snarky, condescending, skewed and emotionally charged comments are possibly lacking in the integrity he demands of these scholars. He’s name calling. Watching this as an arab muslim, And hearing her say mashallah Every two seconds, improperly, to seem like she is actually a real shiekh is nauseating.
She's using MashaAllah in a patronizing way. Everything about her talk was nauseating down to her facial expressions
oh they do this in the west a lot only? . Particularly Muslims who don’t practise much . But if they meet a Muslim who they know is trying their best they lay it on thick, making them feel a lack of spirituality and planting doubts : “may be I’m a bad muslim I don’t say subhanallah or mashaallah every few minutes ? “ I honestly begin thinking like this 😂

Good luck sister. May Allah bless you with a life long pious man.

Salaam. Please go to school for a degree you can work with in the future. I’m a Muslim housewife and I’m forever thankful for my higher education. You’re a better mom for it and can also support your husband and family in a business you may have. It’s also good to know you can care for yourself and family in case of an emergency.
May Allah grant you a good righteous hardworking husband who will cover, care for and love and support you and all your future children. Ameen.
@@omowhanre i have a degree and i already work. i meant i was contemplating going back for my masters bc i’m not married. every day i think about the life i want to live (wife with kids) but that’s not my life yet
This was so vile and sad to watch. Nothing prophetic about publically shaming and slandering people on our community. It’s men like Mr.Daniel here who will be demanding a female Muslim doctor for their wife when she is sick but don’t believe women need to get educated. Utterly shameful. Please re evaluate your nafs and stop promoting divide in the ummah. Until you have secured your spot in Jannah focus on that. Astaghfurullah
He’s saying this is hyperbole- but he fails to recognize these statements are sometimes taken as fard, by ignorant Muslims. So her correction of this rigid interpretation is to educate the community. Abuse is real.
Also the mocking tone of “queens” is truly lacking in Adab. Critique, fine. Mock- not how a Muslim behaves. Even when correcting someone. He is as extreme as the feminists he is so much against. And it’s completely inappropriate to comment on her skills as a therapist. Has this brother been a client of hers? What proof is there that she is not appropriate and balanced in her support of families? Truly childish approach to a critique. He accuses her of having a speech impediment? How is this appropriate??? This brother is angry and rigid himself- and needs to be educated on how to handle different interpretations. His resentment & bias is palpable. I pray we all strive towards having the best of character.

Please have some respect for Yaqeen institute, they have done a lot of positive things for the deen and also there are incredible people who are inspiring and getting muslim closer to their deen.
It's better to have one muslim on the right path rather than having 1000 liberal jindiqs.
They are getting Muslims away from Islam and towards liberalism.
We have an Arabic saying, " The only one who will praise the market is the one that is benefitting from it." Basically a conflict of interest.
As she is doing training for this so-called problem, it only suits her to make "the problem" as big as she can.

Just for those who don't know, Rania Awaad's Shaykhas studied under Munira Al-Qubaisi, who was an Assad supporter.
So that explains a lot.
Lol you have no idea what you’re talking about. Every Syrian in Syria who wants to stay alive and safe is “an Assad supporter”. You don’t know peoples hearts nor do you have the right to assume their intentions. Syria is a dictatorship under a bigger communistic dictatorship (Russia and Iran). Be quiet pls and thank you.

Great analysis brother, I suggest making short versions on TikTok and TH-cam to reach more people.
Definitely TikTok bc big Muslim community

She is explaining her assumptions with a twist and motivating women not to obey their husbands as the way husbands want them.
Daniel's response to everything she said and claimed in this fruitless lecture was remarkable, as her audience was unable to contemplate or question it directly. Unless they have a shared understanding and explanation to make it easier for themselves to do what they want to do in this dunya ( life). Jazak Allah khirn my brother Daniel!

Hello from Sweden
She completely ignores the fact that yes the women used to go BUT they also used to wear the niqaab. Why did she brush aside all the narrations which proved that they even covered the face?! Do the women who go out nowadays cover their face? These feminists don't want a barrier in the masjid "because it is not the sunnah" yet they don't want to wear the niqaab. Wear the niqaab and come to the masjid and pray without a barrier in between!
Brother, I am from the UK. Can you elaborate on Islamic Relief UK organisation, is it the one you are mentioning? I have been donating my qurbani and zakat to it for the past 2 years since I have been residing in the UK. Please, elaborate on how they use the money. Jazak Allah!
@@salkynaabd1855 I believe his point is that these organizations have a looser definition of what zakat can be used for. So while zakat can only be spent on things for needy. Sometimes these orgs interpret like an administrative salary to be something for the needy because the administrator helps the org run and give things to the needy, so it's connected. Things like this. It doesn't mean they are scamming you or anything, they just have a looser definition of what zakat can be used for

The rest of ayah 33 has been mentioned in other ayaat addressed to all women (and men) so that argument doesn't hold up. Only the "staying at home" part is not mentioned elsewhere in any other ayah as per my knowledge. Ummahaat ul Mumineen did step out of their homes but they did not pursue any regular job outside the home - they primarily stayed at home as they were instructed to read/teach the ayaat and hikma that was taught by Prophet (saw) in their homes till he was alive. I'm not arguing for women stepping out or not - I am simply saying that we need to acknowledge that this particular ayah is addressing ummahaat ul mumineen.
