Very nice series 2, I used to own a 1981 Series 3, ex HongKong Forestry I purchased from Cebu Rover. John the dealer has a 1996 US version V8.
He several ex British Army Defender 90s in Cebu. Your Series 2 has a more robust transmission than the Series 3. We had a 1961 Series 2 109 pickup back in the 1960s, the headlights were not in the Fender yet.

Thats a series 3 Rover and they didn’t come out until the 1980. Why lie?
The series 3 come out in 1971 but this land rover is in fact a 2A which is earlier. Centre console gives it away
It's a Series 2A with some incorrect parts. But incorrect parts are just part of Land Rovers not in the UK.
It's a late 2a.transition model between 2a and 3.
