  • You develop an idea to get into a very strong stock. But you just are not sure how to execute the trade. Has that ever happened to you? The top 3 trade setups we are using on the desk here: smbu.com/mike

    One of the things I like about SMB, you never hear these guys swear in their videos. Clean professional language! Great work once again.

    If something is up 6+ ATR it's probably not a good idea to buy into an acceleration of the tape at the open. Almost seems like the most logical thing to do is let price get below a key level and let buyers prove that they won't give out. This is super educational thanks a lot !

    Nice to see previewed in the free morning meeting, And then get a complete summary of how it was traded. Unreal. Best training tool is Smb and it’s free.

    Incredible work from those two 👏🏻 They deserved more from that trade based on their research alone.

    Does anybody know what their chart volume setup is called? I see their volume candles show proportional buying vs selling data. That Would be very useful

    Can you guys make a video explaining the super bizarre bands of bids and asks following the current price around on the SPY etf? Like, it does not look like a collection of random bids or asks by independent people. Rather, it seems a single entity is doing it on purpose. What's the idea behind it?

    Would be cool to see the Tape not only on the lifting the offers on the way up, but when the tape chnges as a Reason2Sell. Also an explanation of T&S unless not being looked at when bids are stepping up.

    Huge fan of the videos, thanks so much for sharing these! I have a quick question for you. I have noticed that before each trading session, your traders are conducting extensive research into a proposed trade. The trade is promising, in that it has good risk/reward, and also seems likely to play out in the market. However, what happens if the stock does not behave as expected, and in fact, the trade plan is now completely useless? Does this mean that your traders that worked on this trade that day will not trade for the day, or do they prepare multiple plans of attack prior to market open for a single trade, or for multiple trades? Thanks in advance!

      our traders generally have multiple plays they are looking at. If they aren't seeing anything worth trading then they will use that time to focus on other areas of their trading such as building scripts or continued research or back testing ideas.

    Great video and information. What software do you use to get Average Stats? Are these stats for earnings gappers on PINS or on any gappers on PINS.

    • @smbcapital
      @smbcapital  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think these traders used excel to get that information. You can usually pull this info off yahoo finance or google finance into an excel sheet. Should be able to enter the symbol you want and then hit a hot key to do the calculations for you.
