Love the mention by Victor of answers to the end are at the beginning. Great callback to the hint put out there by the creators about this season being the end of the beginning
The Julie scene was crazy and really changes alot of what we know about the town. I like the theory of Randall being Martin. We don't know his last name or if he has a marines tattoo or not. He usually wears ling sleeves. I'm sooo excited for these last 2 episodes!!
I don't think Martin is randal because he didn't know about boyd when boyd came to the cellar first time but he knew about Julie that means this isn't going to be her last time for time travel, she will definitely travel again.
Randal has been show lots of times with a short sleeve tshirt he has no tattoo ammd how did he know about abby bcoz randal doesnt know the story and again if he is martinghe already knows boyd knows about the music box so why talk in riddles to boyd
I'm wondering if the statement made by Victor, "they were born in the dark..." is the eclipse that has been brought up before. Maybe Fatima will give birth during the eclipse? Love listening to your channel!
I really think. The 7 kids bring people into fromville and the enity and monsters try to stop the kids from being saved. In episode one season one when the Matthew’s family sees the tree it shows the roots of the tree and we just found out the roots of the trees hold the kids power I could be wrong but it for sure looks like this is true to me but maybe I wrong
I like the idea of the children pulling ppl into Fromville but I think tree the Matthew's family saw were different roots. The tree they see in the road when they get stuck is a different tree than the one Boyds family sees, and the ambulance in season 3 also sees a different tree in the road too. I think depending on where you are in the real world when you get pulled into Fromville determines the tree you see in the road. The roots the Anghkooey children poured their hope into seems to be the farway tree Tabitha used.
Yes it’s not the same trees what I mean is it shows the roots of the tree to let us know it’s the power of the kids bringing them in And also the trees seem to be moving Wich I think also has to do with the kids. I think they created the faraway trees and the power to bring people in and the treees people see are just a sign of this
I also think the enity whatever it was that made the people kill the kid’s might also have pull to bring people also but unsure going rewatch all 3 seasons this weekend hope to catch some more hidden info
I had a theory I posted a while ago, what if the trees are keeping them there and instead of going through them perhaps they should be cut down, then I see Victor hacking at one in the next episode trailer. It’s probably not the answer but it was weird to see Victor trying to cut one down. The tree is actually at the beginning, where they enter the town, perhaps the answer to the end is to cut em down. 🤷🏻♀️
My theory from a couple videos of yours back is slowly coming to fruition. The kids were sacrificed by their parents, which Jade and Tabitha are decedents of or their minds were taken over by the entities of their parents due to them both being in bad car crashes the day they arrived, the same day (if you’ve seen Agatha all along you know what I mean by this). Christopher and Miranda were the cycle before. It’s going to turn into Jade vs Tabitha. Jades side will want to preserve the town while Tabitha’s will not and will want to save the kids. This is more apparent to me due to the fact they make Christopher’s voice mumbled. I think he was the one that called Jim in season one. Over time Christopher grew to see why the kids were sacrificed and became apart of the town to protect it. Which will happen to Jade. I don’t see this whole story ending with a win
Something is off with Donna, can't quite put my finger on it. Plus Clara is creepy also ,Victor isn't reliable, when the towns people were killed he was downstairs without a talisman. The monsters allowed him to live, as the one monster told Victor if he keeps comin to the caves theyd make him stay there. But the whole who threw the rope to Boyd was really no big deal. And how does Victor know about the whole kids being sacrificed? I believe Jade will be killed soon. The show runners said some of the BELOVED characters won't make it out of the season.
Nooooo😢 there aren't many beloved characters to begin with(at least for me). I always wonder about the cave also, why the warning as opposed to attacking which is their norm.
The towns people sacrificed the kids to gain immortality, they are the monsters that come at night. Thats why when the opened up smiley he had human insides
Smelgin has definitely gone to the crazy side. I also feel sorry for Fatima if she has to share a small space with him...the smell alone will kill her!
It's interesting that the root Cellar has the same curved stone threshold as the well house where Martin was being tortured. Definitely the same builder. And Elgin drags Fatima through that threshold - cementing his place as an all day sucker.
@jessn7034 interesting. I'll have to check. Maybe Colony House was where something bad happened- it's right by the stone altar used in the Choosing Ceremony.
There's a tie or nod to Neil Gamian's American Gods in the story of the children. There's a story in that novel of a child born into a tribe that wasn't allowed to ever see sunlight and was only shown kindness by it's mother The child's mother tried to stop them, but the other people sacrificed the child at night to the old gods in exchange for prosperity and they took the child's blackened bones and made a totem from them. Sounds familiar?
good call about randall been ex military i get that vibe too , maybe randall is his surname , and his christian name is martin ? just chucking that in there
With all we know now, it's clear that all the early settlers clearly were the ones who sacrificed there children to a dark entity for more than likely what early settlers had to deal with in America like starvation and harsh conditions. I suppose the monster manipulated them by telling them if they want to go home do this the exact same way the monster manipulated Sarah and Elgin. I suppose since we are dealing with time travel some one in the town will time travel to the beginning of the early settler time and stop the sacrifice from happening then travel back to now to reset everything and Victor with be with his family again. 😢.
I find it interesting that Sarah’s brother feared the cicadas and now scar face fears them and they keep coming back for him. I think the town is creating fears and everyone else fearing and believing in them makes them stronger. I think the night stalkers we’re created by Victor. He was there alone for the longest time. His memories are hazy and maybe he saw a brutal murder creating the first night stalker or maybe the town hid at night before because of the founders of the abandoned cabins where they found the vegetables. now everyone that comes to town fears the night stalkers making them stronger. What if Tabatha coming back to town with the fear of the faraway tree made traveling in a faraway tree more dangerous. Sure Boyd traveled and got stick in a well but his fear is not being able to save everyone. And he’s on his own journey. Also. Julie didn’t time travel. She was twitching with her eyes rolled back but was able to effect the past by throwing down a rope for Boyd. Man I love this show.
Hi Jeremy and all - In the scene with Christopher talking to the BIW in the church basement, he called the BIW 'Ethan'. Did you happen to hear that in your re-watch?
@@malcolmzeex1156 Thanks for the confirmation! No one has mentioned it in their recaps of this ep, and there were only 2 brief lines in the Discord, and I said I heard it as well. Maybe that might be the creators solution to "our" Ethan aging out of his role??
The children were botn in the dark. Just like Fatima's baby will be. Maybe the blood is to keep the baby in this "realm" rather than the other side. We did see fatima's stomach suck down, meaning the baby moved between realms. The baby is not hers like Jim's kids are "not his anymore". The boy in white might have been born the same way. This baby will be the first non-pale white child here lol cause it will be weird if Fatima and Ellis have a pale white baby. Then again, the baby is not theirs.
I couldn't help but notice that the hope of the ankooiee children poured their hope nto the roots of a Farway Tree, singular. is the significance of the large Farway Tree that is located just down the road from the barn and has tunnel roots?
Ive had so many theories and did so much research trying to figure this out. But after watching more theories and going back to the begining and thinking about Lost and how it ended i think i have figured it out. I think this is an experiment, some kind of dream / nightmare experiment. I also believe, alot of the people in From are not actually people and the story lines do not matter. However, i do believe some of the people are real Ethan and his family, Jade and Randall. I think everybody else are fillers to help the story along. Looking at the show, it seems as though several different stories and folk lores are present which makes it hard to figure it what story is being told. However, if we go back to Season 1, Ethans favourite story was Flight of the Crominecal, and all through Season 1 he was telling us that every event that was happening was like what happened in that story but no one really listened. Ethan also told Jade that in the story the map was found in a cave of treasures, which he described the diner as like a cave of treasures and if they looked through all the stuff from the past residents they may find a map showing the way out. So i think this is Ethans dream that we are in and once you figure out the way out everyone is killed in the experiment and the game begins again. I also think Randall is related to someone, in the town but i cant quite figure out to but i think that relationship or lack there of, is the reason for his anger and his lack of trust. I dont know im grabbing at straws, but thats what im getting the more i watch.
What Do Cicadas Eat? During their time underground, cicadas primarily feed on the juices and sap of tree roots. The children poured their hope into the roots. "Your blood is my blood." It looked like cicadas underneath Boyd's skin, passed on by Martin, and then to Smiley. Kids vs the monsters
Speaking as someone who has treated military ptsd, Randall definitely displays a ton of signs Ive seen in other clients. From his attitude to the way he carries himself and how he sometimes lets his fear win out, his lone wolf approach, quickness to anger coupled with his instincts to help others. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he was formed military
