if anyone's taking apush here's how to do well, i learned the hard way: - watch a basic overview of the unit the day before u start it. every day, watch one heimler video and take notes, do ur hw and all that yk, the basics. before ur unit test(mcq), binge watch heimler and take notes, also do khanacademy if u have time(i just did the mcqs on there and not the lessons bc i was lazy), watch adam norris, review all ur notes and make a compact version of them(just dates and definitions of events/people with causes/effects if applicable)(u can also find some premade ones online in a pinch, but making them urself is so so much more helpful, esp because u can use them later while studying for the big exam too). before an saq/leq/dbq, go online and if u know the unit, do multiple practice prompts for that unit, if u dont knwo the unit, just do random practice prompts. also study the content before saq/leq/dbq obv. before the big exam, obv review the content super well through heimler adam norris and ur notes, do practice questions timed. make sure u get used to writing leqs and saqs and dbqs and understanding the rubric and how to analyze the evidence and all that. for saq/dbq/leqs, when iw as in a rush i would jsut practice by making an outline which is super duper helpful, just outline what term youd use for the intro, write ur thesis, and write what term youd use for each of the other rubric points. get good sleep before the exam, dont get sick, take a jacket to the exam if ur like me and get cold all the time. but also, w a jacket, if u get too hot u can take it off, unlike a sweater.
oh also read ur textbook (not in one sitting, do like 30-60 minutes per day), and highlight. u can read the same chaptyer that u watch the heimler video for so ur learning connects
