Wow, great review, nothing flashy, just accurate analysis and comparisons. Thank you. The 860v14 is a tremendously good shoe for me. So much more comfortable fit and stable in the heel than my Saucony Triumph 20.

Liked the video and good information. I like the 860 line, but run primarily in Asics. I need stable shoes and have found the GT 4000 v3 to be fairly good for most runs. The new GT 4000 v4 is out and I plan on trying those. I understand this new shoe is higher stacked with a more pronounced toe-off. The GT 4000 line doesn't get much attention, but represents a stability shoe with elements of current technology (foams) and past stability features (duel density, etc.). Am following your channel now and look forward to your reviews. As you may have guessed, I am an older, but dedicated runner. Stability is not a bad thing for me.

How do they stack up against Brooks GTS 23.
NB is more cushy and fits more relaxed. Both pretty equal otherwise.

Easily the best 860 model they've ever made. These things make you forget you even have sneakers on. I was a kayano lover but that changed once Asics butchered the line with the 29 and completely killed it with the 30.

29mm is referring to the thickness of the foam of the shoe. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
@@runnergy I know what it refers to, but my question is how did you get 29mm? I really hope you didn’t measure one shoe, your shoe and then extrapolate to the general population of shoes. You look much smarter than that
I got the spec’s from a representative from New Balance. That was the reason for the doing the video. I had heard so many incorrect specs being thrown out there for this shoe and wanted to set it straight.
