My exam results just came out, I passed , I have finished my 3 year degree after 6 years at university I will be graduating soon, I have never seen my parents proud it brought tears to my eyes. I felt hopeless, but God has been faithful. Songs like this remind us of where we came from, the struggles we face. I pray that someone reading this, may light shine on their path, konke kuzolunga mtaka ma' keep hustling, keep pushing. Don't forget to pray.
Glory to God 🙏.
Yeah I also finished my 3 years degree after being in University for 5years, last year we didn't have proper graduation ceremony because of covid, when they delivered my certificate my parents were so proud that my mother even kissed me😭😅 you know in most of black families we not used to kissing our parents but that day nje she was so excited 🥰
Congrats ❤️❤️

My brother and I bought a house for my mother after she retired from being a domestic work.😢😢😢😢GOD IS GREAT
This melted my heart. Well done guys. 🤗
Halala 🎉
started varsity this year , remember the name Nkululeko Msomi cause in 4 years from now you will be hearing a lot about it , ku Nkulunkulu we trust
Tomorrow is the beginning of my second attempt as a final year student. I'm teary eyed typing this because I struggled so much last year. I lost my motivation and ended up failing some crucial modules. By some miracle, I have been granted a second opportunity by God and my ancestors. My bursary didn't drop me like I thought it would, just yesterday I moved in to my place in Johannesburg and I am feeling highly motivated! To cut a long story short, I will return here once I graduate at the end of this year.
Edit (16/12/22) - I made it 🙏🏽👨🏾🎓
Edit #2 (21/04/23) - I got a job 😭😭😭😭
You’ve got this! 💪🏽💪🏽🤍
Goodluck..keep pushing

Gotta make mama proud 🇿🇦😭😭
This will be the most watched South African video of 2019👏. I listen to this song everytime I miss home. So many of us have left our families behind so that we can have a better future and make them proud. Black child keep pressing on, your breakthrough is coming ✊
It's like you knew I needed this, thanks for those words
Damn straight ✊🏾 that is such a common black child’s story. We sacrifice to take care of our parents cause they did the same for us.
@@MsKRAZOR We sacrifice so much, with the hope of better lives for our siblings.
I made a reaction of the video on my channel and would love if you checked it out mwah ❤️
I can relate, I'm 23 years, and currently not living @home, what do I do, I'm grinding and hustling for the fam.
2024 I still feel tears coming out when i listen to this masterpiece🥺🥺.... if you reading this, never forget where you come from. Take care of your mom because once she pass on from this planet theres a piece in you that she leaves withand it can never be replaced🤞

I left home more than 10 years ago and had less than R50 on my first day in GP to eat and survive when I came here. Last year, more than 10 years later I was playing this song in a car that I bought for my mom and I was driving her around in my hometown...it was a moment I will treasure forever...bambelela✊🏿 we came to fulfill our dreams here in Jozi, we not playing no games
Very touching my brother. Congrats on that. So inspired as well as i am contemplating to go to jozi
Oh my goodness nice 👍🏾
will their to hustle 2 any time
"uNkulunkulu emuhle njalo. Uzongipha amandla".
Worship and faith in two lines.
Glory be to God!
Amen
I am watching this song hopeless.
My fiancé is pregnant and i live thousand kilometers from her, i am still a university student in a bursary, i have absolutely nothing in life, as i am writing, i got robed 5 thousand yesterday wich i was supposed to send her, and, yesterday she left me just because i ask her to not call me because i was in class.
I then lost another 1 hundred in forex trading, while my teacher denied my school work necessary to close his course.
I FEEL LIKE MY LIFE IS GOING DOWN AND I HAVE NO ONE TO COUNT WITH NOW.
I am in a very cold country, but basically surviving with almost no clothes, i can't die because i know i hqve left God and i am afraid of hell, but, really, i am tired of this life.
Thanks for the opportunity to tell out what i am feeling and going through.
How are you , did you see God in your life ? I believe God showed up for you ❤
I graduated in 2017 with an Honours Degree in Information Science, got a job the following year that's below my qualification and managed to renovate my late parent's house. I am doing my second degree LLB. I am praying for a promotion, nonetheless I am grateful to have a job
First year student at UCT, I am struggling with computer science, I fell like quitting or changing the degree that I'm doing, this song just inspired me to continue. Dankie Mlindo Dankie Sjava🙏 "UNkulunkulu emuhle njalo, uzongipha amandla".
@madlalayanda I'm also a first year at UCT this year studying comp sci, I hope all goes well
Hold on the future is bright
I gave birth to a stillborn son 1 year ago, when I first heard this song last year I thought of my baby. The life of wonder and wishing I now live. I still can't listen
to this song without crying, it's just the constant wondering who he would have become. Oh Lakhanya temba lam. When you say "umama wandithwala 9 months esiswini" I break down. This song gives me so much hope for the amazing man my son would have been. Thank you Mlindo
Love and light to you ❤️❤️❤️

This Song touches my heart in such way that i can't explain but all i know is that every time i come back here i just find another level of motivation to work hard for my mom, her name is Monkie
This is a story of many young black people especially males. I myself had to dropout of high school while doing Grade 10 because the situation at home was just too bad. I was the eldest boy and I had to make the sacrifice in 2010 for my parents and my 3 siblings. I'm 32 today working in the mine and I plan to go back to school again.
I'm a black American Male who doesn't know a bit of Zulu but can still feel the love in this song
❤💚💛
I don't understand everything in this song
U guys give us the strength to keep going ❤️🖤💚 ✊🏽🤎
This song is changing my life.....i will never forget
I don’t even understand what they are saying but the way I’m in love with this song, mad love from Zimbabwe 🇿🇼
Me neither, I'm from Namibia 🇳🇦 but I'm a huge fan
The song is about a mother. They are saying they are leaving and not coming back cause they are going to work in Johannesburg in so they can buy their mothers houses.
You must be shona i know Zimbabwean who know Zulu...
Yeah I'm from zim too I don't understand their language but I like mlindo too much

I played this song when I arrived from Cape Town to E.C At my mom's place with my new car BMW 3 series, she was in tears because I'm the first in our family to ever bring such, I hugged her and told her there's more to come....
This song makes me cry everytime I'm 13 and this song was released when my favourite Shona teacher died she told me if i keep on studying I'll go very far and I'll never forget that RIP MRS NGUNDU
You're going to make her so proud, trust and believe 💯👏🏽. Keep giving it your all, your efforts are not in vain 🤞🏽💯🙏🏽
My parents are both late and I wish they could see I have overcome some obstacles with the help of some living ANGELS.They didn't leave me alone.God is watching over me even through tough times.
As much as my mom passed away i will still make her proud

"As long as umphefumulo usa dibhene ne nyama, lemp' aika pheli".I felt that
Just paid attention to the sound of hooters at the beginning of the music and just thought that they symbolize the hustle in South Africa. The first sound you hear on your way to fulfill your dreams is the sound of taxi hooters.♥️♥️♥️
May God bless the hustle of you all!🙏🙏🙏♥️♥️♥️
Deep🥺
Owwwww🥺🥺🥺♥️♥️♥️
When the song came out I was in grade 8 , naive about the world , enjoyed it for the rhythm and harmony . 5 years later , finishing my first year in varsity, listening to this song because of the truth in it . I'm still not experienced about the world , but one thing I can say is that troubles and obstacles are for everyone , no one has a cheat code for those , but one can trust in the Lord , slowly but surely you will see the light. Your light won't be the same as other's and it won't shine over you at the same time as others , but it's the light destined for you and it won't pass you.
This is our year. We shall walk through the gates of success.
2025 🙏🏾
I grew up in a home of rich people with my mom the only unfortunate child of 10 children, she was disrespected, dehumanised, i ddn know how to talk to her until I taught myself to talk to her in a respectful manner, and protected her.....😘 I won't rest until I give her the world she deserves it😍This is to you mama, im not only coming home with that paper but im bringing the bag too👑

Life decided to give me a second chance this year, and I just remembered this album, particularly Ancestors, and this song...
We need you back. We need another gem bro.
Im coloured South African, honestly i dont even know what that is, i relate to the black culture so much. This song just made ne love my family without taking anything for granted.

Cant hear the words. But the song speaks to my heart. Yes mom. we will make you proud. Trust we won't forget where we come from and who made us
This comes from the bottom of my heart... SA is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.... From a Tanzanian fan... I don't understand even a single word but am vibing the whole time.... WTF is happening to me???
Mlindo we love you in Zambia.ur songs are great.💟💞💓
Ezakdala bafeth inspiring ❤❤❤💯🔥
Loved this song till this day ❤
I'm in tears right now😭I'm not sure if I should consider them as tears of joy because I graduated early this year or I should consider them as tears of missing my mother who passed away last year October during my final exams as an LLB student 😪 I remember when I first got to uj I promised her that I'm going to finish my four years degree on record...not because I'm genius but, because I'm going to work hard so that I can change her life and make her proud. Unfortunately I'm sitting at home unemployed because I had to come back to my village to take care of my siblings who are all under the age of 15, or maybe should I say I'm sitting at home because competition is too high since everytime I'm applying for candidate article positions I get no response due to the sub academic results I got. You can imagine how it is to write your final exams while preparing for your mother's funeral...even though I passed through sub exams I'm still grateful to God. 🙏2021 bad year of my life👎kodwa keh ngizo hlala ethembeni because nkulunkulu umuhle njalo...

Sending love and light ,keep moving life hasn’t stopped,Remain blessed sister ❤
It'll be ok sister, Just stay strong and positive... For your siblings..
Educate them about important life lessons As much as you can.
While on the other hand sending emails and applications nonstop!
God does really reward those who try! I've seen... Do really believe in me.
God bless you and your family. 🤝❤️
