If ever there was a person born to be a musician, then it must be Mark. Every song he's ever put out, is wonderful. No one plays the guitar like him. His tone and melodies, chord changes are beyond my level, that's for sure. His style of playing (the claw), is beyond unique, But then again, I'm a writer who wishes I was a good guitar player. Ain't that the way it always is? I remember buying Dire Straits debut album in 9th grade and it was the first album I'd bought with a clear plastic record sleeve. I played that album till I wore it out. I still do. But all in all, Making Movies is my favorite album. It was released at a very fun time in my life when I moved to South America, and we all partied to it. Great, great musician and songwriter.
