Yakone would have killed Aang if not for the Avatar state, katara is simply no match. With Amon, it wouldn't even be a fight, katara would lose her bending, as he would dodge, close the distance and take her mending, dispatching her as quickly as the right began. It would end in the early bout; katara would have no chance with her skills, as Amon does not trade blows with water. And yet, Amon's single feat with water was an S tier move, something only masters except katara have done. Korra is also stronger if not equal to katara. The first two bloodbenders mastered taking water from plants, trees, oh yea and thin air so there’s no way a simple plant bender is above a bloodbender AND katara definitely defeated that swamp monster or plant monster when they initially first met merely with regular water bending

Katara vs amon isnt even a close battle, amon bodies any character thats not and avatar and very easily. Katara absolutely has no way to combat his blood bending even on a full moon. Amon can shake of tarloks blood bending with no issue and tarlok is a seasoned trained blood bender. Katar gets slapped badly.
Amon would wreck katara the man way to fast agile .. the man dodge lighting point range , tarrlock blood bending didn’t work on him . I wouldn’t be surprised if tarrlock would Moo the floor with katara his blood bending is in another Lvl .. and then there’s there father omg . Katara at least # 4 or 5 easily

I don't think taking his bloodbending away would change much since he was strong as hell even with just water. He instinctually bend a giant water tornado after presumably not using direct waterbending for years. Hell the fact that he mastered the pshycic bloodbending at 14 and Tarrlok called him the strongest bender he has ever seen I think that Katara would get wrecked.
