Stan, what??? You left out CCR. We part ways on Styx , I have 0 interest in them. It's ok. I'm listening to music since 58, I heard a ton of songs
Yes, ,3 Dog Night is one of my favorite groups ever. This is a good cool song with Danny Hutton on lead, there all great singers. Very successful for 7 or 8 yrs. You gotta react to Cory Welles covering Try a Little Tenderness cover by Otis Redding, it's terrific!!

Three Dog Night does not have a bad song because they were able to very carefully select songs written by the greatest songwriters of that era. Some of the songs were pretty good the way they were, but their genius was how they took a good song, speeded it up, changed the tempo, added different instruments, and added those intensely soulful and soaring vocal harmonies. They took good songs and made them great. They did not write their own songs but geniuses in arranging and performing songs by other artists.

Yes, Three Dog Night was great band. Back in 1973 I went with a friend from high school to see my first concert, and they were the ones that we went to see. It was a blast, really had a good time. Thank you Stan for sharing with us. If your interested in hearing a slower, beautiful song by TDN I recommend "Pieces Of April". It's a pretty one.

So glad you like The Guess Who. They are from my home city of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. They have so many songs you could react to. Some of them are Share the Land, Clap for the Wolfman, Life in the Bloodstream, Laughing, Undone, Running Back To Saskatoon. There are more but these are some you could start with if you haven’t already reacted to them.

And it’s an absolute joke that they are not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!!
