While on Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas, I went snorkeling at Perfect Day Coco Cay! Here are a few of the sights seen while swimming with the fishes!
Most of the sea life was found by the artificial barriers constructed to calm the waters in the man-made coves.
Corals and fish were abundant on both sides of the barrier.
Have you ever snorkeled at Perfect Day Coco Cay?

Thanks! Took awhile to find the best spots. But now I know. And everyone seeing this video now does too! By the surf breaking rocks.
      Thanks for Watching!

Hi I really love your video, Im traveling with my son (17yr) soon to CocoCay. We really wanting to have a experience like this Ive seen your replies to others here in the comments. Could tell me how far out you were to see this and which side of chill island you were at. TIA

No problem friend! I hope everyone can have a perfect day snorkeling at Perfect Day!
Most of the fish can be seen near the rocks of the barriers. The shipwreck is a bit out, but not too far from the lifeguard island.
I went into the water in the center cove and went around the rock barriers towards the south (towards the cabanas)
Let me know if you have any more questions. Have a perfect day!

Holy cow we were there the week before you and I snorkeled out there and saw NOTHING but baby fish 2 inches long. How far out did you have to swim?? I went up and down all the side rock walls and nothing but a few small striped sgt majors. We are going again first week of May and I would like to film bigger fish like you did. There is a plane and tower and stuff to see too but I couldnt find it. Any suggestions?? Thank you for doing this video!!

Most of the fish were around the rock break wall. I looked for the airplane, but could not find it. I’ll have to look harder next time. Several times I poke my head out of the water so you can see where I am. Those C-shaped coves off of Chill Island.
I hope you can see more fish on your next trip to Perfect Day Coco Cay. Thanks for Watching!

Was this an excursion or did you just get the snorkeling gear at Chill Island? If not an excursion, did it cost a lot?

I simply brought my own equipment and it cost exactly ZERO dollars to snorkel at Perfect Day!
They DO require a snorkel vest, and the water does get choppy outside of the rock barriers. I got mine (inflatable) from Amazon for only about $15 USD.
      Happy Snorkeling!

But there’s no marine life in the water?
