No force is required to lift that ship. Like many others it's actually designed to float on the water.

It's not really a sovereign country like most regard as real countries and as such Canada shares more similarities to a province than you'd like to admit, such as having a foreign head of state, a British old lady, Elizabeth Windsor, with a questionable ethical history and an even more questionable sense of self as she thinks she is a Queen of a united Kingdom put in place by God.

i was visiting here on a school trip from the US at the time of the disaster, luckily the teachers took the year to higher ground and we missed the flooding. We were stranded for around 5days in Japan and the trip was cancelled. The Japanese are a great people, very sensible when faced with disasters and could see that that we were the priority giving us their much needed rations with little protest. i will.never forget the 16,000 that died that day r.i.p. God bless Americans

They also found a broken TV that belonged to a woman who lived in Japan where the Tsunami hit. A chair with no legs was found ashore in some other place outside Japan and reportedly belonged to somone from Japan. Also, some screws that were used to hold things together in some random house were also found...

No one id doubting that the British took D.C. in 1812, and burned many buildings, including the 'White House'. But to say they were "Canadians", is to rewrite history. Especially since the land was held by 2 separate European countries. The only "Canadians" were the "Inuit Eskimos". And I doubt they even knew D.C. existed, let alone where to find it.

The image at 3:21 (flashed as narrator says the word 'threat') is a famous photo of Chuck D & Flavor Flav from 'Public Enemy', one of the greatest & most influential bands in American music history. It was taken around the same time as their 2nd album, "It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back", was released (1988).
They are wearing tshirts from hardcore band 'Minor Threat' from their 1983 album 'Out of Step'. 'Minor Threat' was a DC band at the heart of what became the hardcore punk movement of the '80's.
Both of these bands are iconic, & the image was about the creativity, politics, resistance, intelligence & drive that fueled both hip hop & hardcore punk at the time. These bands were creating the music that inspired the 90's & early 2000's, & they continue to be influential to this day.
This video uses this image in a seriously sh***y & f***ed up racist way, but that image is music history at its greatest. So in honour of that image, I'm posting 2 of my favourites from that period from Public Enemy & Minor Threat. Enjoy, & support your local musicians!!

I wonder how these were chosen. I live between seattle and honolulu and between exoploring coasts of those two places have seen plenty of intact boats and crates and many other things either from the tsunami or the pacific garbage patch. some of the things on this video are completely insignificant and common.

You have to work more on your Japanese pronunciation. The second one is pronounced EE-WAH-TEY three syllables.

Unfortunately most gringos don't even try when it comes to foreign pronunciations...and then they have the nerve to laugh at people who have accents in the US
