@@ItaliaAutos Kudos on the paint to smashing job that.

Very impressive Neil, paint job looks great.
Cheers 🥂
Paint looks amazing, well glossy she’s coming on now no end!
Sure is.
Great video. That interior came up mint, and that paint went on superbly. A beautiful colour and for only painting for 2 years you have a natural gift for it
Many thanks for the comment.

Looking good Neil.

I recently saw a bright red 4x4 one at a local Opel dealer, 20K km off the road for almost 20 years. The new owner was having it recommissioned.
Coming along nicely
Thanks 👍

great stuff!

Looking good m8!

For steering wheels, use magic erasers. Bit of a game changer.
Good tip. Thanks
Yes. I’ve plenty magic erasers I’ve never used. But will. Just use with a well diluted all purpose cleaner yes ??
@@zzhughesd Yes just a diluted cleaner, ya best of using a scrubbing brush or rag to get the bulk of the dirt off, then the eraser for the final stubborn bits.
@rickychopper as you saw plenty of grime taken off with the 2nd scrub.
@ thanks. Will be using that magic eraser one day.
Hi mate I'm new to your channel and was wondering if you restore cars then sell them on or are you a working auto mechanic with customers?
Normally working with customers but this one is to sell on.
It is good to see what was a quite popular car in the day. Saying that, I never liked the Cavalier Coupe, soggy thing to drive with the worst headlights I have ever tried!
Thanks for the comment
@@ItaliaAutos Look forward to seeing the rest of how you get on with it. 😀
Your so clever
Lol cheers
👍👍👍
😀👍
is the punto gt finished?
Nope 85% done
@@ItaliaAutos waiting for parts?
@iamyourfuture808 needs some time on the ramp but not have one free for long enough
I assume you are not using 2K paint. If you are, then your PPE is grossly insufficient as the clear paint, and specifically the catalyst, contains isocyanates which is dangerous to your health.
