I can believe it's free, can't legally charge for a map from a different games due to copyright laws
Yeah i know, by that i mean all the cool features packed into like the crash cam, radio and interactive elements
This is already a copyright violation by law. The reason most such mods are free is so that game devs don't bother sending cease and desists.
Say that to people who charge for irl car mods, it's illegal also
@@haydenbrowning8528 game devs tend to be a bit more litigious about it, especially if its another game. Car companies dont mind the lil bit of free advertising. To be clear on my stance i dont even like paid mods at all, just have seen a ton of ea & nintendo lawsuits
@@haydenbrowning8528what a terrible analogy. How does the effort to put in a free map compare to mods that can be sold for a profit because it’s not illegal to sell, only install in most cases.
Another ported map with deadly curbs! The Vice City map is terrible for that! And then there’s Shuto Expressway with its killer guard rails…
Deadly curbs are realistic for a stanced out car
I heard that the vanilla maps have the collision mesh angled more smoothly for curbs because otherwise they would pop the tires (I guess it's a limitation of the tire simulation) so perhaps mod maps need to implement a similar feature
well hitting curbs with speed is quit taxing on most consumer cars. Even with good ground clearance you need to slow down or your speed with dent the wheels if the tires fail to absorb the energy. Once a wheel is dented the tire is usually toast as well

IRL I even managed to pop a tire on my bicycle when trying to climb a curb at speed. It's definitely realistic.
Just go and hit a curb at 50 km/h with your real car and look how it turns out
I actually saw a preview of this map on another channel, he actually showcased it. I currently play this game on my PS3. And omg the nostalgia hits differently. I don't play it often, but when I do, it's a blast. I love how the speedometer is the exact one from the actual game, that's actually super cool. I never got to experience the airport unfortunately. But omg, to actually see the full blown city in Beamng is actually awesome. The cop chases are amazing, and for a game from 2012, the graphics are actually good. This is and still is one of the best Need for speed games I've ever played. And for anyone wondering, the city takes big hints from the cities of Boston and Pittsburgh! When I saw it on the other channel, I was shocked. To see him racing down the highway, is exactly what this game is about. I didn't see any cop chases tho. All they need now, are all the vehicles, like the ford raptor, Koenigsegg agera and a bunch of others
I just started playing it. The only map that gives you an intro like it’s own game. Crazy!
Never played the original, but I’m glad I can experience it now.
To be fair the original can be had on Steam right now for like 3 bucks.

This NFS MW game isn’t usually among the most popular but I personally loved it. I played it on ps3 up until last year. I have this game 100% complete

In some fashion it was doomed because of the naming, but I agree that it's a great game as a whole.

This is clearly an immensely impressive map! It just seems to be cursed with the issue that sticking faithful to the original means it doesn't gel with a different games engine for playability. Tweaking things like the curbs, ground-ramp transitions to suit Beam's engine would likely make it infinitely more playable, but that would also be a crazy amount of work.
The trophy truck would still let you hit a lot of the jumps
This is a blast. Is so awesome that I finally have a rig that can keep up with the big boys. Imagine if this gets updated with destructible objects. I was seriously disappointed when you blasted through that chain link fence and just ghosted through it. 😂

Bro, Need for Speed 2012 is the game of my entire childhood! I still have the game on my pc almost 100% completed because its my favourite game!
I need to try this mod now. Also if you want highway stuff, go on the 192. Its a huge loop that in the original game, you could get some serious speed!

I saw Jowo's video on this map first, some of the modded billboards are pretty funny. It feels weird that the map from a game from 2012 is savaging your PC. I guess it's the collision detection, since it seems to have perfect physics with the exception of the gates and billboards. I feel like this was my next favorite open world racing game after Burnout Paradise. I bought it on PS3 and PC, but I don't remember an airport. (BTW 2012 is on sale on Steam right now for 3 bucks til Feb 20th.)

After downloading the map for myself and roaming around, I've realized how much the curbs really can be an issue here. I recommend the offroad Sunburst for jumps and shortcuts, as it's able to take the punishment rather well, with enough power to make most jumps practically perfectly.

I'm sorry to say this guys, but Most Wanted was a 2005 title, and the last good NFS game (my opinion). This map is from Most Wanted 2012, a remake of the original with less single player. The city is different, but they used the same game play style, just with no actual story mode. Was wondering why this map didn't look like Most Wanted's map, because its not. -_- The map does look like a lot of fun in BeamNG though! :)

It was supposed to be a sequel to 05 Most Wanted
But EA rushed it so a lot of the good stuff got scrapped... you can find old pre-release footage of it... it was meant to be soo much more
But big corporations failed it... it's very sad

Amazing map build, but I still prefer non lethal curbs, it takes out a lot of fun.
The fact that this map looks bigger than Italy but I still get around 40 fps (the fps I get on west coast) and made by a dev is insane.

This map is great I downloaded it, but I noticed a lot of missing things/props, even on Neils, so is this a like map problem or a PC problem? The map is still gorgeous tho. Im so afraid to spawn traffic because I do not want my PC to combust into flames😂.
Hearing how large this mod is, I shouldn't be surprised that playing this map at 60fps can be a challenge. A decent gaming computer is definitely a must for this 😲

i'm running a potato pc but yeah it took 8 minutes to load instead of 1 (normal map) but it ran pretty much better even than other maps so i would recommend you just try if you have the space (3.3GB) and you want to try it (it's sick)
