None of this is "shocking" as promised, this word is just used to draw you into watching. This is just 30 minutes reviewing the comings and goings of actors on the show. Nothing revelatory and not worth watching
The guy who played "coach" DIED, he didn't just "leave",, he DIED and was replaced by Woody Harrelson. Shelly Long's EGO grew to be so big she INSISTED she be paid MUCH MORE than anyone else in the ensemble. She believed the show would collapse without her, she was WRONG!
"Departed" "Passed away" Some youtube commenter burping that someone they never met having, one presumes, narcissistic personality disorder, when being a mother observing their child's need for attention. Study what happens to neglected children, befor spouting Bullsht.
Shelly Long was perfect! She wanted to be loved and adored by a man who was her boss and who had plenty of options. Typical of many women who desire romance from an emotionally unavailable man. 😢
Shelly was awesome - there's so many characters like the one she played in the college town of Boston. I grew up next door in Wellesley, so she knew just how portray the posh, educated beauty, so much like the classmates I loved while attending Wellesley Senior High.
When Shelly was there Cheers was a Classic After that with Kirstie it became a very good comedy show but not a classic Kirstie was better at comedy than Shelly but the show was no longer a classic
When I realized that, at times I TOO was a "Cliff Clavin? I new my friends loved me because NOBODY even kidded me. I OWNED UP to it immediately and I of course CHANGED and PURGED myself of any Cliff Clavin tendencies.
They said what woody did later but not WHY he left (unless it was a fleeting moment). They came back to him 3 times. Stay with 1 story til you are done! Same with Frasier and Rebecca. WHY did they leave?
NBC didn't cancel the show because they didn't have anything to replace it. The Screaming Viking episode was after some corporation bought the bar and Kirstie Alley's character was the GM. Sam had returned from trying to find Diane and wanted his job back. Rebbeca was reluctant but acquiesced but had to get rid of either Woody or Sam's replacement who supposedly knew the recipe to EVERY SINGLE DRINK out there. So, Sam made a deal that if Woody could make a drink that the other guy couldn't, Woody would stay and the other guy would go. So the Screaming Viking was introduced. The other guy said, "I've heard of a Singing Swede, but there isn't anything called a Screaming Viking. Then everyone who came in wanted one. So Woody improvised; even including a cucumber. "Bruise or not?" Everyone: "BRUISE THE CUCUMBER!"
This program had to have had many talented people , very good at their professions to be so well done and successful. Writers and producers who did so well to develope the characters and their interactions and great actor's and actresses to so successfully play those characters that well.
Taxi is my favorite show Dreamers failing but keep trying and hoping The wannabe-actor was the best character in the show - he had the best lines, some of the best episodes too bad he got addicted to drugs
Any time any of these pre-Madonna’s want to complain about putting on make up sitting in a make up chair oh gosh it was a 14 hour day blah blah blah and they’re bringing home a quarter of $1 million an episode or more should be immediately fired
A horrible show that I only saw bits of that others were watching. It was truly a bad show and not funny. How it didn't get cancelled who knows. Sort of like horrible songs that used to be forced on us on the radio because the record labels had contracts with musicians and the radio stations. When you hear those songs now , you can easily pick out the good ones from the duds.
I love cheers somuch it's a great pity I can't watch the replays on TV n on yt I love the casting they're all funny where is shelley long now???? They're all so funny I miss the series 😮😮😮😅😅😅😊😊😊
Uh ... no. Like too many people, you really don't understand what "karen" means. Diane never had a scene where she got outraged at the fact that a Black family was doing something suspicious like eating at Melville's, then called the police and photographed them during this scary event. A "karen" isn't just any woman you deem annoying.
No cable or ESPN, local games was it, then the tv went off. Old folks bars might watch the Wheel or Carson but people drank and talked to each other believe it or not. No cell phones.
@@ramaraksha01 They didn't. People actually had conversations with each other. They didn't spend it staring at screens while they soaked in alcohol in the 80's.
Coach died, not replaced.

M-A-S-H is pronounced Mash
i turned it off right after that

Study what happens to neglected children, befor spouting Bullsht.
Which was clearly explained in the video as you would have known if you watched it.

Shelly was wonderful in 'The Money Pit' with Tom Hanks. Why was it not mentioned? It was successful.
I was thinking the same thing. That movie was hilarious.
Yes: I LOVE this house!
Wow! I forgot she was the female lead in "The Money Pit" - that may be the movie that made me laugh hardest of all the movies I've ever seen.
Shelly Long was perfect! She wanted to be loved and adored by a man who was her boss and who had plenty of options. Typical of many women who desire romance from an emotionally unavailable man. 😢
I love her in the movie called; the luck of the Irish.
Shelley Long was a very good comedic acter. She had very good facial expression, timing, and delived hèr lines very well.
Shelly was awesome - there's so many characters like the one she played in the college town of Boston. I grew up next door in Wellesley, so she knew just how portray the posh, educated beauty, so much like the classmates I loved while attending Wellesley Senior High.

When Shelly was there Cheers was a Classic
After that with Kirstie it became a very good comedy show but not a classic
Kirstie was better at comedy than Shelly but the show was no longer a classic
Shelly was great. Kirstie wasn’t
I never could get Sam drooling for Kirstie, he always had better looking girls than her. Dianne was much better.
Kirstie ruined the show.
When I realized that, at times I TOO was a "Cliff Clavin? I new my friends loved me because NOBODY even kidded me. I OWNED UP to it immediately and I of course CHANGED and PURGED myself of any Cliff Clavin tendencies.

Kirstie Alley MORE than filled Shelly's shoes. She was EQUAL if not BETTER than Long.
Nah. Not even close
Colasanto's only 60 in his last Cheers perfomrance, having begun the series at age 58.
This program had to have had many talented people , very good at their professions to be so well done and successful. Writers and producers who did so well to develope the characters and their interactions and great actor's and actresses to so successfully play those characters that well.
Great video.
Good video except for the repetition
They didn't come more beautiful than Shelly Long what a goddess.
It was okay but not as good as Taxi.
Taxi is my favorite show
Dreamers failing but keep trying and hoping

Mash was extremely well done and much better than Cheers. Even when Cheers came back redone.
Mash and cheers great shows great humour
I may be a pig but i had the hots for Lilith.
I love cheers somuch it's a great pity I can't watch the replays on TV n on yt I love the casting they're all funny where is shelley long now???? They're all so funny I miss the series 😮😮😮😅😅😅😊😊😊
Show started off great, soon it became boring! Long did a great job!
BOTS! WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE BOTS!
I wish they would use real people more to narrate these videos !!!
Rhea was great in Matilda
Shelley was the best part of cheers
The best episodes were in the first season.
I don’t feel Kristy ally was a good replacement 😮
A "little" stuck up? She was the original "Karen".
Uh ... no. Like too many people, you really don't understand what "karen" means. What about the money pit with Tom Hanks?
Shelley Long was Cheers.
Ted Danson was the show
I was never a big fan of Shelly
A bar without tv's everywhere made it unrealistic.
This was 1982 - not sure if they had Tv's everywhere back then
It was a bar, not a sports bar.
Ok Elvis

The 2 stars was Cliff and Norm and they drove the show. Ted Dansiger and Shelley Long were just passangers.
Cliff and Norm were the sideshow clowns. The main characters were Sam and Diane.
Dude, seriously, get back and finish high school.
I could NOT stand Carla!
This video was not very accuarate.
Star trek 2 no country for old men money pit
Very repetitive
