    Can't beat crumble this time of the year. Great update mate and nice to see you making your own compost

    I've an old office shredder & feed cardboard i get from a mate through it, which makes little pieces 25x5mm. Mixes grand with grass clippings & I get through more than 200kg a year.
    Collecting stuff to compost is almost an obsession as I reckon I need 2½ tons a year to add a 3cm layer over all the beds.

    Don’t take your rhubarb down to nothing. It does grow back yes, but it needs some leaves to grow back with! 👍🏻

    I never learned to like rhubarb, but that's a gorgeous plant! Did you grow it from seed? I wonder if it would work as a yard plant?

    How have you got so much rhubarb? Mine is still short, I’ve put some good home made compost on it and some well rotted horse manure but it’s still pathetic 😥

    • @catfishm.1361
      @catfishm.1361 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes they are. But when broken down in compost it loses its poison and is ok for garden use. Just don’t eat the leaves! 😂👍🏻
