Thanks to Priya sisters. We were also traditional family. Even though we were 5 daughters and one son, my father gave Karnatic coaching to my second elder sister with Sri Kolathur Sastrigal ,but her so called husband never allowed her to sing any song in public.

thanks a million to PRIYA SISTERS to unearth a rare gem of SAINT TYAGARAJA in MOHANAM 'ENDUKO BAGATELIYADU' the neraval aptly depicted the mood of the sahitya,i.e.,the lamentation of the saint that the people in kali age are not realising that the body is not permanent.the duo ,may be because of their felicity in TELUGU chose to dwell on this anupallavi as they thought it could depict the mood of the song and its the right place to deal neraval in this particular song,this is a result of thrir traiing under the redoubtable PROF.TRS who always insisted that singers in Carnatic music should have empathy towards composer and the moodof the kriti,particularly language that they should choose the right sahityam in the song to sing neraval .this shows his nuanced and painstaking efforts to produce an allencompassing neraval(apt both sahityawise,sangeeta wise and mood wise of the song)THE LEGEND OF TRS LIVES ON IN THE VOICES OF THIS FORMIDABLE DUO WHOSE MUSIC,in my opinion,is above all A SINCERE EFFORT TO STAY GROUNDED IN TRADITION AND NOT TO PLAY TO THE GALLERY MAY THEIR ENLIGHTENING MUSIC CONTINUE TO ENTRALL US FOR GENERATIONS TO COME

Excellent answers and nice experience. In BHARAT we have two concepts one is Brahmam and other is DAIVAM. Brahma Gyan is connected to Lord SHIVA and ideally SHIVA should be woshipped by WOMEN to be precise BRAHMIN Women (by Birth better or else by Karma also). So BRAHMAM which is Lord SHIVA has to be worshipped by SMARTHA SHAIVA BRAHMANIS.
Next comes the DAIVAM which is VAISHNAV or Lord VISHNU. This should be done by GENTS or in fact VAISHNAV Brahmin Gents.
Now which comes first? Brahmam or Daivam.
The answer lies in the Padmanabha SWAROOPAM of Lord VISHNU.
It clearly shows/says that it is from DAIVAM (Bhagavan) comes BRAHMAM.
That is why we say Mathru Devo Bhava, Pitru Devo Bhava, Guru Devo Bhava.
Goddess MAHALAKSHMI who is much much above LORD VISHNU is a SHAIVA. In fact she is half DEVI and half BRAHMANI.
Lord VIshnu, as we all know is VAISHNAV.
Goddess MAHALAKSHMI is daughter of Lord VARUN DEV and a BRAHMANI. THis is why she is called BHARGAVI.
Because Maharishi BHRIGU is S/O Lord VARUN DEV. She is of the same Gotra as Lord Shukracharya and also as of Lord Sri krishna, since YADU Vamsh started from Devyani, D/O Shukracharya.
If in a girl child's (born to a Brahmin mother) horoscope the DEV Guru (Jupiter) is in the HIGHEST EXALTED position she is to considered as GODESS MAHALAKSHMI.
OUR BITH PRIYA SISTERS ARE MAHALAKSHMIS. Sri SHANMUKHA PRIYA (I am assuming her as the elder or taller one sitting on the right when looked from our side) is SRI-DEVI (a little more my favourite, to be frank) and Sri HARI PRIYA is BHU-DEVI.

Their gurus ''RADHA JAYALAKHMI, PROF.TRS MUST BE PRAISED.& APPRECIATED FOR THEIR GUIDANCE & TRAINING.
Being a retired IAS FROM AP i strongly recommended the sisters for padama vibhushan direct for, they have attained the impossible. ''NA BHUTO NA BHAVISHYAT NEVER WAS NEVER WILL BE..THIS 81 YEAR OLD MAN STRONGLY RECOMMENDS THAT THE SISTERS SHOULD BE MADE ASTAN VIDWANS OF TTD FOR 10 YEARS ON BUSINESS DEAL PAYING THEM Rs2/- crores per year with tax exemption under 80---- to be filled by cbtd. .

Venkateswar Jayanthy yes i am aware that they are konaseema dravids with their first name as vadlamani. but if u go to DNA then they are great grand children of a sastrygal brahmin from -karaikal (more like our andhra -smarthas-- )who are basically very strong shiva prayer lovers. they hardly stayed in ap the hindu
archives has good amount of bio . children pick up local language with correct pronunciation. after 400 years (raja raja narendra chola used to take brahmin sastrigal along with him to fix muhurtams for advancing his army. when one of the sastrigal came to tu.go.ji he decided to settle at starting from ''sakhinatipally,where the lakshminarasimha of antharvedi to rajolu,jandrapet,amalapuram. the dravid brahmin family of ap have contributed massively to from sciences to arts including vocal. padma vibhushan nookala china satyam is one .to the best of my knowledge late. dr.p.r.rao was a pioneer in water systems means applied hydraulics was chairman of cwc.responsible for nagarjuna sagar dam etc including the massive nagal.in punjab.

Subramani P K My father passed away at beneras on 24th jan . He was a disillusioned with AP govt. in promoting carnatic sastriya sangeeth by priya sisters. He was a firm believer that TN people only identified thygaraja. That is why he searched for DNA priya sisters & established. in his last few hrs. standing in ganges uttered priya sisters are godess saraswati personified, & felt sorry that they could not be honoured with padama award. nor by TTD. He never wanted his body body be made available to any one. He was a strong follower of adi sankara. sivakameswari 2 nd daughter
