Best Installation video on TH-cam and directions I can follow. Quickly decided I didn't like dots for carry. Gonna get a TP9SFX and add already owned 507K to it as a nice range gun. Many thanks.
I have a question i bought the comp for a canik rival S but the plate it comes with makes the optic sit very high therefore when sighting the red dot i cant lower it anymore so when i shoot i need to aim about 2 inches lower to bullseye any advice or did you have this issue with your rival s?
@@klf1754did you just the point of aim or the dot? In other words…if your hit is high…ur not moving the dot up..you’re moving the hit lower to meet your dot. So make sure you’re adjusting the point of impact NOT the dot. Make sense?
It came loose while shooting or right after? I’ve shot with it a few hundred rounds with no issues…what screws are u using? If the optic is loose immediately install, it makes feel like it screws are too short
@PhatTactical while shooting. Only cured it for a day using 242 blue. Used the longer screws from holosun. I'm looking into getting longer screws or possibly a 243. I just redid the screws and going to let it sit for a few days.
@@isaiahdecastro2110yeah I used the Holosun screws to mount it to the plate and then the screws from optic plate from Canik I used those to mount the plate to the slide. Strange it would come off, those screws have to be the issue cuz the blue loctite should’ve worked

appreciate the feedback!
Just installed mine, testing in two gun comp in few weeks
I haven’t got to test it in completion yet ..having holster issues but man the optic is huge and just goes with this gun like a match made in heaven
Don’t use the optic screws to mount- use the additional screws that comes with the canik for your holosun optic- torque to 10lbs and your good
Thank you! You saved me $45 :)
Gunsmith fees? Lol glad to help!
Did you use the screws that came with the optic?, or the ones in the kit with the pistol?
lol don’t start that!

You’re using the plate I used? The one with the canik? Because mine didn’t cause any issues. My point of impact was dead on.
@PhatTactical yea plate #2 i even had multiple people shoot it, and same issue i thought it was me at first. They even found it weird
@@BOOGIESTICKYmsg me on IG, same name.
@@PhatTacticalhave the same issue with red dot too high. Cannot adjust the dot any lower. Did you get the name of the thinner plate you mentioned?

did it stay on? ive done it three times already and it still comes loose.

Torque wrench not required?
I believe Holosun has their Torque specs in the manual...im just 1 of those that does blue loctite and hand tight.
@@PhatTactical 15 lb/inch required
@@memyselfi8167I was gonna put that initially too but wasn’t sure and I never really torque to specs
