Agreed. Even though I have to many of all of them. I'll take some more 😂 I got my first 2 EDC prybars. Hopefully that doesn't turn in to a Gun Knife flashlight and pen type of habit. 😆

@@GBall_Vision Lean into it. No sense fighting. Just don’t get into watches. You can spend a lot of money on guns, knives, and pens, but watches get into “you could have bought a car” territory surprisingly fast.

I actually just picked up a Work Sharp Precision. For what it is, at it's price, it's worth picking up, especially if your getting into sharpening your own knives. Nick Shabazz made a really good video about it, showing how to use it and such, and he's the reason I picked one up.

I just bought the Work Sharp Ken Onion Elite. I am very impressed in just over 40 strokes on 3 belt gradients and I can shred paper with my kitchen knives. They are the only knives I have sharpened so far with it. I highly recommend it, it was available on Amazon Prime a week ago.

Agree on the Shiro being one of the best EDC out there. I too have many great knives, but my Hation (same size as your Zero) is a great usable size, super light, slim in the pocket and SO satisfying to flip and close. I’ve had a knife in my pocket everyday for 30+ years and didn’t know of this brand until this year, and it quickly jumped to the top of my rotation.

Would you do a video on the types of steel that are used to make these knives? Start from the easiest to sharpen, the best of holding an edge, and the differences between the stainless steel metals used. Wrap it all up in a list so I can see the difference and that will help me in determine the knives that I might want to purchase. One of the best all around knives is an Imperial that I bought from Walmart 30 + years ago and I haven't a clue what kind of steel it is made from. I just know that the grind and the ability to sharpen quickly is great.

Nice lineup and review. I like that you found 2 used Shirogorov's, and put them into your user rotation. I'm headed in that same direction, two of the smaller Shiro's to be used. They really are first class knives with precision machining. The 3.375" versions (Neon, HatiON) are just about perfect for EDC, and a pleasure to fidget with. Life is too short not to carry and use a nice folder.

Nice rotation.. I’m usually carrying either a spyderco dragonfly 2 (green g10/vg10), a ZT 0450, or a sanrenmu 7010. Usually one “higher end” knife and the sanrenmu.. the sannie is the one I’ll use for more questionable tasks or hand over if I’m asked for a blade.
I’ve also got a bug on my keys and usually a leather man sideclip in my backpack.

Normally my EDCs are Damascus knives that I can sharpen, often MCusta knives (damascus with VG-10 in the middle). They are easy to sharpen. Some times (I mean only one time only) I also carry the real damascus stuff in the wild (even the one of 4000 dollars). I always take a new knive in the wild but as an EDC it are sandwitch damascus only (so often MCusta's). So I carry expensive knives as EDC: I like it to show them.
I carry some cheap ones form CRKT, like side openers (snap lock and daktyl) but only on request as conversation knives. CRKT have cheap fun knives.

I too use expensive knives. However, my knives went for many times the cost of this one. I use the best I can find. That is the purpose of our making them in the first place. Not just to look at. Hell, we could make them out of cheap as dirt steel if all they ever needed to do was sit in a case and be admired.
Sadly, one very famous knife maker and past Knife Makers Guild Presidents did exactly that. Fine daggers and not so much as heat treated. GRRRRR! Pure junk at thousands of dollars each.
