what's in the program that isnt in the book?
Elisa - the built in storage in the dining area needs to be preserved
The built in’s are what makes a craftsman a craftsman home. Leave the dining room built in for sure.
I understand updating and modernizing. But I love the front door and the builtins. Don’t discount the value of charm. 😉
100% agree. Removing those builtins destroys so much of what gives these homes their names and what makes these homes appealing. It's called a craftsman for a reason. These homes were meant to honor the craftsman's work and highlight these built ins as showcase items/pieces of art rather than mere tradesman products. Craftsman refers to the interiors as much as the exterior. Eliminating these items is a tragedy.

wrong.
Storage is important. We really miss it when we no longer have it.
Please, please don't remove the beautiful built in's in the dining room. The amount of space gained in the dining room really isn't needed and many people would expect some Craftsman features remain in the home.
I am so dissappointed that you plan to tear out the built in cabinets in the dining room. That is the classic character of the craftsman style house and I think it is a mistake.
The built ins are an important part of the character of the home. Buyers of craftsman homes want the built in. You should keep them.
This will be fun to see when you work your magic. It’s my hope that you retain the charming old school details. Like others have mentioned, the dining room built ins could be preserved. Such a cute bungalow.
Keep the BUILT INS! It’s the home. Why strip it. It’s a craftsman house. Built by craftsmen….. to showcase their work. Don’t take it out pleaseeeeee.
this is not a craftsman house. it's actually kinda fugly. better to modernize it and tear out the dining buffet.
I love the built ins, makes the house a bit different. I do hope you keep them. Why not let the house be a bit unique and not typical track housing.
This is a diamond in the rough. I know you will do an amazing transformation; can't wait to see it. I didn't know you were offering a course. I will definitely look into that. I think you would be a great mentor.
Ok Elisa over here snatching up dual properties can't wait to see how they come out
Why are most of your videos are before. I use to love watching you in the beginning where you provide such value…showing the details numbers…very genuine and informative videos. Now most of your videos are acquisition videos.
Ha, it’s because all the projects are still under construction. Some of the after videos will be up soon.
I have an idea on the controversial built-ins in the dining room, Elisa. What if you carefully remove them and set them aside in the garage. Then, if the buyer does value and want to put them back in place, they can do so. Just a thought because I agree that your target market may not appreciate those touches as much as some viewers do.
I really laughed when I saw your blue dress against the blue color of the house. I am interested to see what colors you choose to paint this house, both inside and outside. There are a lot of Craftsman style light fixtures available, so it would be nice to use those here. Have you checked to see if there are hardwood floors under all that carpeting? If so, I think it would pay off to restore them and have hardwood throughout. It is a rather strange house, all those doors and funny little nooks and crannies. Sort of chopped up, and the bathrooms really will benefit from your re-design. I also agree that the kitchen is just not functional and if you can figure out a way to make that odd space work, you will really prove your pro status as a flipper! It's a puzzler, this house. Quite a challenge in many ways and I am really looking forward to see how you transform it! This was a great buy! With the ocean nearby, and your design prowess, I'm thinking it will also be highly profitable.
Oh this one will be cute!! 😊
I look forward to seeing the follow-up on this place soon. It is lots of work. As always, I enjoy your work on projects.
Thank you!
looking so nice place at home
Thanks!
@@TransformRealEstate your most welcome
Keep the built ins, please.
Elisa, I would appreciate if you can show the bay view from the house, if there is any… thank you!
Pls keep the rabbit and the turtle❤
I love your videos and watch every one. But it breaks my heart on those occasions where you remove authentic historic features in a home just because they are "old school". Please, please, leave the craftsman cabinets in this home - and the front door is also authentic historic craftsman and should be kept. Look at those unique lines and beveled glass! The two front windows are an authentic craftsman detail also, with the band of small beveled panes on top.
Also, see if those benches in the living room will open for storage - they look to me like they do, but are probably glued shut by layers of paint.
Hey Transform Real Estate, I just watched your video and I must say that it was really informative and well-made.
I was wondering if I could help you edit your videos and repurpose your long videos into highly engaging shorts? I can also make high CTR thumbnails for your channel
Hello Elisa, do you want to do this business in Sacramento, if so let me know we can talk more about, I am a real estate agent in Sacramento.
Remove the built-in in the dining room. It's blocking light from the windows. Banquette seating would be a nice touch.
yes, they are too imposing and will take away from the fresh remodel.
Like like like like like like
yes, only keep the craftsman details that the buyers want. smart. if people want to keep all of the craftsman details, then they can buy it and put thie rmoney on the line.
She acquires a lot of her properties before they hit the market. Someone probably didn't even get a chance to get this home. The dining room built ins are not taking up a lot of space. What would someone put there? Probably a sideboard from Wayfair omg. Huge mistake to remove. They are charming and functional! The rest of the ideas I agree with especially dysfunctional layout but tearing out the built ins will add ZERO value. It will only take away.
@@loserplanet she had the chance to buy it so why didn't others? not everything is spoonfed to everyone, typical loser talk. You want this house, then make the connections or knock on the door. The dining room cabinets are overbearing and not attractive. Tearing out will modernize and add value to the home. Leaving them in will hurt value. Let's see you put your money on the line.
You should definitely get rid of the built ins they look absoloutely hideous almost like it's white cheap IKEA furniture
people who call this house a craftsman, need to take a basic architecutre class.
