I do have spoiler warnings in the video for Abigail, but I forgot to add one for The Hunger (I mean it’s been out for 41 years so is it necessary??). If you want to avoid spoilers, I’ve got you covered in the chapter descriptions! Anyways, who wants a cookie?
I listen to the score from Bram Stoker's Dracula while I'm doing chores. I always end up getting distracted and start pretending I'm a Dracula but still 30 out of 10 would recommend.
❤ Ooh! I'm going to try that. I also recommend Re: Dracula and Dracula Daily podcasts. SO good. In Re: Dracula the voice actor for Dracula is REALLY creepy. Not his voice specifically, but he makes some performance choices that are "turn on every light in the house even though it's 2pm" kinds of creepy.
2:04 - It WAS terrible. Which is a tragedy, because the Broadway show was AWESOME. They had a blue print, TWO blue prints in fact, several members of the OG film cast, an amazing vocalist for Janis, and a Regina George who successfully played the role on Broadway, and still completely screwed the pooch. But yay for you catching up on spooky content! Though you definitely could have just gotten canned pumpkin 😅 Now you can roast the seeds though. Sugar is usually mixed with wet ingredients for future fyi - at least white sugar is. Brown sugar I think is similar. Also, I'd love your input on Dracula 2000 😂 It'd be hilarious. And BBC Dracula for a totally different bit of vampire chaos (I adore him but he's a mess)
sugar with the wet ok, taking down notes as we speak… which is something I wish the Mean Girls movie musical had done in recreating the Broadway show and the original iconic film. And a comparing all the Dracula movies idea.. hmmm… hmmmm… making more notes
Autumn, this baking masterclass was an absolute blast to watch, and Rhonda deserves an award for bringing such a powerhouse performer into this crazy world! Wishing you a belated Happy Birthday, and many, many more to come! You never fail to entertain - enjoy the fruits of your labour! 👏👏👏🍪🍷

I accidentally manifested it for sure. I also successfully got one of my friends into iwtv. They’ve seen the first season and borrowed the book from me. I told them it gets pretty wild, so we will see how they like the vampire chronicles.
@@AutumnBottomBrown thank you thank you, I try very hard to spread the word of Anne rice. I really wonder how they’ll like the first book, as they’ve only watched season 1 (curse you Netflix for not having season 2 yet) and haven’t seen the movie yet.
Since you've seen "Bram Stoker's Dracula", a fun piece of trivia. Think about Lestat's costume in the Mardi Gras parade. Got it? Now, think about Lucy's burial gown. Preternatural Doublemint Twins. I think the "Nosferatu" remake coming out this Christmas will be BSD for 2024. Don't hold me to that; I might be wrong and I've seen you shred. I also came late to "The Hunger", and also did some "Queen of the Damned" shaming. If you still have AMC Plus, "Elizabeth Harvest" is a fun take on Bluebeard. If not, "A Fantastic Fear of Everything" is great and on Prime. Either way, the fact that the second season of "Interview With the Vampire" Blu-ray comes with art cards is awesome.
My sister and I are planning on going to see Nosferatu when it comes out this Christmas. I like Robert Eggers movies, and think he'll do very well with Nosferatu. I can't wait to see Bill Skarsgard as Orlok.
The way I have the same stickers on my water bottle. (That I cannot take out at work because I work with children. Whoops.) (thank you for your videos autumn they get me out of this real life thing atm)
19:30 I haven't seen anyone answer this question of yours but yes some recipes do call for both baking soda and baking powder... I mean the majority of the time you'll just see a recipe call for baking powder.... But recipes absolutely can call for both! Also yes you probably should have baked the pumpkin mush before putting it in the cookies... The stuff you get out of the can is cooked.

I thought the plot of Abigail was kinda like Usual Suspects if Keyzer Sose was actually Dracula, and his vampire daughter was his main hitman, or hitgirl.
It was such a fun watch! I've had the same idea to watch all the vampires movies I haven't seen before after s2 and I made my friends watch Nosferatu on our hiking holidays, so we were vibing with the main character going through the mountains landscape (and it turns out it was filmed in the same mountains range we were in, so it added to the fun); but I thought in the second half of the movie that Nosferatu was killing everyone and I read that no it was just the plague, because of the rats, why? 😅 I feel like it was a lost opportunity, he should have gone on a killing spree. And the history of this movie is so interesting, like at one point all copies of the movie were to be destroyed, because of a copy right claim from the heirs of Bram Stoker
@@maja2526 yes!! When I watched the movie I thought the townspeople simply THOUGHT people were dying of the plague because they didn’t have any other explanation for why people were suddenly dying. But then I read about the movie history and realized, no they actually WERE dying of plague. I agree, I too was puzzled as to why they didn’t just have Orlock be the sole perpetrator of death. I know he brought the plague rats, but it’s not the same as him actively preying on the populace. Oh well! It was fascinating to see the birth of so many now iconic tropes in the genre! And the whole copy right issue is baffling! I can’t believe a judge would order them to DESTROY all copies of the movie instead of fining them &/or making them give all profits to the Stoker estate.
