I understand you wanting to change your rating system! Tbh I don’t get the 5 star only rating system. I got a Papier reading journal and it gives you a 10 star rating and it’s so much easier to rate things because you have a much wider range to choose from when deciding how you feel about a book. I now give all my books a rating from 1-10 and I am happy lol. It’s weird for some people but honestly, who cares! Find what works for you. Lovely set up!!
oh my, right?!!! i'll definitely look it up the 10 star rating, because i have so many mixed feelings while reading! i don't know if you already saw it, but i thought about using the "Cawpile Rating System", but i was afraid i'd be too lazy to do the math of it every single time, so i came up with the one that i showed on the video! i don't know how i feel about it just yet, but totally agree with you, maybe i'll change things up a bit :P and thank you so much
@@anniesrkiveI’ve heard of the cawpile system but I KNOW I’m too lazy to implement it 😂 I need things to be simple, otherwise I won’t commit to it. If I have to do math just to rate a book that’s a no for me lol. That’s why I have the Papier reading journal because as soon as I’m done reading a book I need to put all my thoughts down immediately or I’ll forget and in that journal I can just answer the questions and write down my thoughts and give it a quick rating, which I usually just go by gut honestly. BUT I also have a second reading journal that I set up myself and when I really like a book I just make a dedicated spread for it.
oh god, same here! about everything tbh hahahaha i'm gonna definitely look it up if they have the questions online, i think i'd be fun to have them ready in my laptop maybe, and then just make the spread in my reading journal!
@@anniesrkiveoh yes! They have a “look inside” section at the bottom of the reading journal page and you can see the different pages included. But if you can’t find it I can send them to you, let me know! It’s so much easier to use it and then if I want to make a spread on my own, I can take however long to decorate it and I know I already have all my thoughts down.
