I realize this video is 2 years old, I just purchased a V8F to begin on. I plan to be fairly good before spring. So, I will be checking out all your videos along with others wheelers videos. Can you recommend an affordable full faced, lightweight helmet?
Nice padded jacket. I ride a Kingsong 16S and one of the things that prevents me from riding it more frequently is putting on / taking off all the protective gear. The jacket might at least get rid of the need for elbow pads. I won't leave home without the gear as it's saved me from injury more times than I care to admit - especially the wrist guards / palm protection.
Yes! It’s pretty convenient with a motorcycle jacket, very quick to put on and take off. There are definitely lots of designs and styles available. Having pads and spine protector built in is great
Can this euc go on roads, small bumps and dips? I had to quit hoverboards because any small bumps or dip would throw you off. Impossible to use outdoors. Is euc better than the Segway ninebot s hoverboard?
It’s much better. The wheel size is bigger, so the bumps in the road don’t stop the wheel as much. Hoverboard is 10”, and most EUCs are 16-18” wheel. Regular bicycles with much bigger wheel sizes can handle road imperfections pretty well. But EUCs are already getting close to car wheel sizes
Thanks for the video! A question, if I may. I bought a V8F as my first EUC recently. When it's on and not moving, there is a high-pitched buzzing sound, not very loud but you can hear it. If I press the kill-motor button under the handle, it stops, then starts again when I release. Is that your experience? InMotion tells me that's normal, but I figured it should be silent when idle, like an electric car or e-scooter. Thanks!
Hi Johnson! Mine makes some sound as well. While I don’t necessary love it - I think it’s necessary. It has to balance even when you’re not riding it. It actively creates magnetic fields all the time and applies torque. If you turn it off, you can see how quickly it falls to the side when not perfectly vertical. Two wheel scooters don’t have to do this - if you turn off power, they’re still stable. So they can turn off power fully when you’re not pushing the throttle
There's no speaker in V8F or V8S unfortunately. But at least the wheel is more lightweight and smaller this way, I take an external bluetooth speaker in my backpack when needed
My V8 shut off on me on a hard pull and threw me to the ground, I took a year off from riding sold it and I just purchased the v8f I've learned my lesson now I don't show off anymore I just go for the fun of riding
Good review. I was under the impression that the pedals were same size as the V10F. Now I am disappointed that I won't be able to order pedal up grade pads for my V10F Cheers
They are the same size between V8F and V10f! I might not have phrased it clearly in the video - I was saying how V8F pedals are larger comparing to v8. And the V10 pedals are large as well comparing to v8, but with rubber material. Grip tape material feels really good
30 miles? Wow that seem insane for such a small battery. I barely get 35 miles out of my Tesla 1020Wh from 100% down to 15% battery. Are you sure you didn't mean 20 miles.....or are you really that lightweight (I'm 5'8" and weigh 180). That means you are getting 17 Wh consumed per mile which is on par with what some children get when they ride these things.
I’m 5’9” 130lbs, so I guess I’d get better range than most. Also, if I was going max speed, it would definitely be less, I was mostly pleasure riding with no destination in mind that I had to rush to. 20miles is more reasonable to expect for higher speeds for a heavier person. Manufacturer says 30-35mi on their website, but of course those are very optimistic. :)
@@electricfuture7456 Yea Inmotion has a horrible reputation of grossly overestimating all specs. I love their wheels but their estimates on the original V8 are hilarious and almost dangerous for how underpowered that unit was. Welp, I'm jealous that you get such great range, great vid and review by the way. The V8 will always be my favorite wheel from a design, functionality, and aesthetic POV.....just wish it had more range and power (this F version isn't enough of an upgrade for the price)
@@electricfuture7456 you do a great job. I'm in contact with ewheels and should order my V8f upgrade from my vary sloe Swagroller. I think i can handle it. I'm 74 and have been ridding this two tire version, i am stubborn so I'll figure it out. Thanks for the video.

Great video. Very informative. I’m contemplating between the V8F and the V10. Thank you for making the video.
Does the side LEDs which is purely cosmetic. Hit the battery noticably?
So wait how did you unlock 22 miles? My v8 is maxed out at 16

This can go offroad easily.
Thank you, im 5'7 136lbs would v8f be ok for my first wheel? where you get your helmet from? does it have anti theft features?
im 5'9 120 lbs, i think it would be great for you
Great review! Best one out there yet. Very calm and smooth voice. Subscribed.

ElectricFuture Thank you for the insight!
Where does the rumour come from that grip tape doesn't suffer from friction loss when it is wet? Mine become terribly slippery at times.
How about connecting it to my cell phone so that I can listen to my playlists??? Is that possible???

@@electricfuture7456 Good idea...👍🏽🙏
Perfect! If possible, update us with a new video after a while riding with v8f! Gratz!
How much do you weigh please?
I got mine don’t have that confidence yet to go fast but I feel comfortable at regular speed.
So, how is the wheel running so far, any issues ? I was thinking of ordering from aliexpress.
It’s great so far! It’s been really rainy lately though, so I didn’t get to ride it too much yet. Just about to go now though!

Are you wearing a motorcycle helmet or a lighter weight specialized helmet?
It's called downhill bike helmet
Great review - just ordered one - thanks (also subscribed)
Does it have a speaker for music?
No speaker for music. It has a speaker for beeps/alarms, but not Bluetooth music
Perfect

I have gone 20 on my v8f and had power left over BUT I'm old a ride easy slow on flat sidewalks. Your range will vary.
I'm riding my in the snow and would like to add tire studs but don't want to ruin the tire.
20 miles max

Thanks for your feedback. I’m sorry I can’t please everyone or not be true to myself with how I want to create the video
