I have a AMF/Voit MR12, the first (1) hose, (2) stage, regulator manufactured. The internals don't look like they have changed. I guess they got it right the first time. Btw MR stands for Military Regulator. Mares bought the patent and just add3d more ports. I still dive with my MR12. It doesnt breathe as well as my ScubaPro balanced adjustable R156, but it beats a majority of regs ive tried, and I've tried a lot of regs
For that , to be accurate, you will have to test it using a small gauge and connect it to your LP hose (BCD hose) , turn on the air tank and see the pressure . But be careful, do not make adjustments on the spring while the pressure is on. For every adjustment you will have to turn off the air tank ,relief the regulator, make the adjustment and then check again, until you will get the pressure you want.
What would you recommend, make the screw first tight and then slowly unscrew it bit by bit, or leave it halfway screwed and make it tighter bit by bit? @@caatsifora

Great video! My problem is how far to screw in the spring seat and how much to tighten the spring. I blew a LP hose! I guess it came out at >30 bar!

I dive my regulators with more than 40% of oxygen in my gas mix so i have to use Oxygen compatible grease. You can find it on e-bay.
