Volvo xc90 T6 Stuck lock handle door How to open a rear door that will not open"

Thank you so much. I wasn't sure how to open those last 3 screws from the inside. It was really tricky. I opened the seat to make it easy

So after doing that does one need to replace the locking mechanism?

Nope .. I don't have to replace anything and it been working more than a year and a half

same issue...but it seems impossible to unscrew the last 3 ftom inside. especially when door is locked. removed the speaker to create space. but didnt manage. so now im interested in the green clips. just not able to find it.... help!!

You dont need to undo screws from back side - just realised green clips at side and that will separate guide rail from middle panel.
