Inkling could’ve controlled that match a lot more if they used their bombs. Richter was incredibly hard to approach when positioned under a platform, and inkling didn’t use the splat bombs to try and pressure him out of those positions. Especially since his rushdown approach was getting walled constantly by holy water.
@The Seventh Apparition Sigh... Yes I know he's using Richter. There's barely any differences between the Belmonts, so I just refer to them as "the Belmonts," regardless of which one. I call it a solid Belmont because, comparatively, to the ones I've seen, this guy is actually pretty good.
Speaking of, I was watching Dabuz play Simon a lot (he thinks his neutral is busted but held back by recovery- not a main overall) and he pretty much used cross, holy fire, and constant sh bairs. There’s already two different neutrals that developed with the Belmont’s, they have a ton of potential to be the most annoying character in the game, I love it.
If commentators could pretend to talk about what the players are doing and not what the fucking cartoon characters are up to on screen this might have been less cringey.
Hayate Laguna Nah. It’s similar to Ness’s Pk fire and Robins Arc Fire. Won’t say that the move is op by itself, but it’s definitely a strong kill confirm with Belmont’s Fsmash
Marcaroni Villager is more campy imo and but has a lot of varied unpredictable options and good at keeping enemies away. Belmonts are more of an offensive fortress. Their options cover a lot of approach options and can follow up and space.
It’s cause there whole play style is spacing and playing the keep away game. I personally love it lol. If it wasn’t for there recovery people would want this character nerfed lol
Nobody cares that you’re a villager main so why even state that? Your game is entirely based on camping around areas to grow trees the entire game & spamming slingshot as you hide behind them. Now tell me; how is that NOT lame?!?

Richter was spamming projectiles a bit (just a bit) too much and Inkling didn't use the bomb.
His playstyle relies on spacing. How can a ranged character use ranged moves TOO much?

Yeah. It looked strong at the beginning of the match, but it seemed to not get as many miles as it progressed.
You can actually catch the bottle just after he throws it and have it backfire on him.
