I think I liked Mother 2's animations better. In Mother 3, the animations for the levels of some PK abilities look really similar. Especially PK Love--there's very little difference between the beta, gamma, and omega animations.

honestly i like mother 2 psi effects better. the psi effects look more authentic and cool take pk freeze for example the effect barely looks like ice but i can tell it ice because of how the effects look and pk flash the pk flash from mother 2 look cooler and deadlier in mother 2 to be honest. in my opinion mother 3 psi i great but compared to mother 2 i think they did it a bit better

Mother 3's are simpler, but they also occur waayyy faster, which I like
