Hello, thanks for the info. How long will be this promotional code avaliable after I do my first certification?

Ooh, great question! I'm going to pin this comment. 👍 The codes are good for three years after they're issued.

is the AWS worth getting? Awesome vids!

Thanks so much, Martin! 😊🙏 If you plan to get a job working with AWS, the certifications are a good idea. They aren't a replacement for hands-on practice and experience, but in my mind, anything extra you can do to stand out is a plus. 💪

Hello! Thank you for another great video!. I was wondering if you feel that your videos alone are enough to pass certficions, and if so, which certification do you think we could get from your videos alone?

Thanks so much, Cee! 🙏 The videos here on TH-cam won't be enough to pass a cert, but the full courses are more comprehensive (links below). In addition to the course, it's recommended that you have some hands-on experience too (AWS recommends 6 months for Cloud Practitioner). To help with that, the course has tons of hands-on demos that you can follow along with, as well as lots of practice questions.
Then Amazon has practice questions linked on the official certification page: aws.amazon.com/certification/certified-cloud-practitioner. See links for "download sample questions" (PDF, 10 questions) and "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Official Practice Question Set" (exam simulator, 20 questions). I find these are a good way to gauge how ready you are for the actual exam (they also include explanations, which can be a great way to learn). Hopefully that helps! Thanks for watching! 😊

-Solutions Architect Associate: This will be published in the next week or so, and I'll update the video description with a link when it's ready

@@TinyTechnicalTutorials thank you! If I could ask another question though. As someone interested in the machine learning and data engineering certification, how much extra study time would I be looking at if I started with the cloud practitioner cert first, or should I go straight for them?

For sure! If you're new to AWS, I would definitely recommend starting with Cloud Practitioner before moving on to ML. While the primary focus of the ML cert is SageMaker/ML concepts, you'll still need to understand the basics of services like S3, EC2, Kinesis, Athena, Glue, databases, EBS, IAM, etc., and those are covered in Cloud Practitioner. The ML exam is pretty tough (I took/passed it myself!), and it would be especially hard if it's your very first AWS cert too. 😃
