i still have a miniature KITT stashed in the attic, it was a present back in the days knight rider was being broadcasted on tv....don't know how it is now, hope kitt is still intact...
LOL, even as a kid I cringed when they gave the car amnesia. It's such an overused trope in 1980's TV shows -- and after the evil twins... 3rd season is probably when they starting jumping the shark.
This clip appears to be taken from the original DVD release which had an issue with this episode and was missing some sound effects. Note that when KITT powers up and shifts into gear, there are no sounds at all, and when he begins driving, the car is completely silent for a period of time. I had that original DVD set and Universal even offered a free replacement disc by mail that corrected the problem. I wonder why the official Knight Rider channel would be using that particular version of the episode.
It's amazing how the classic Jeep look hasn't changed much in the past 40 years.

80s bad guys were the best. I think the same 4 to 6 actors that played the role of bad guys in most 80s TV shows.
