vinegar and lemon juice help with taking heat out... I had a tip of a toothpick of ghost pepper paste and OMG I ate a 1/2 tub of yogurt! that's some hot stuff! I didn't think it would ever stop burning and being numb!

I was wondering if you had a bad dose of Portuguese heartburn in the morning, but I see your first comment states it never had any effect on you. I had a big Yellow habanero at my cousins place in Brissy 10 years ago. Ate the whole thing without quenching my mouth but have to say the Ghost chilli would be on another level. Gone are the days where I would do this. It just wrecks your day. None the less you took the challenge and that was all that needed to be done. At least it never cooked your sense of humour. As you discovered, liquids don't help. To counteract the capsicum burn, eat some bread. A tortilla will work also. It won't totally kill the burn, but it will reduce it. Liquids only spread the capsicum.
That's what happens eating a chilli that is well over 100 times hotter than a jalapeno. You're lucky it's not the Carolina Reaper, but not detracting from how severe the Bhut Jolokia is. They're fierce!
I was subscribed to two people who were bragging about eating or using these peppers. I'd like to see them actually eat or use them. They said Jalapeno, Banana and Chili peppers were nothing. But at least those can be ate without chugging milk or jumping in a pool.

He was growing them in our backyard this past summer and my 2 granddaughters got into them, got them in their eyes and like to have never cooled them off. Had to take paper towels soaked in milk and hold them on their eyes. My mom loves spicy stuff like that too, she tried them n never touched them again. Those things ain't no joke.
