aw my heart broke to hear about the possibility of Brailee having to miss varsity but I feel like your advice was great. I couldn’t have said it better. the only thing she can do now is focus on healing her ankle and I’m sure all will fall into place. if not we just have to believe, everything happens for a reason (even if it is because of tiktok LOL) but really, you’re a great mum, great advice for your great kids. love your vlogmas so much and look forward to it everyday but please don’t feel too stressed to upload on time everyday, we understand how demanding vlogging and then editing everyday is. love from Singapore!

I am a former elite athlete who’s been through many serious injuries three ACL reconstruction‘s. Braley’s best friend is ice, constantly ice keep her leg above the heart but do not put ice directly on the skin put a towel on the foot first, otherwise it will burn the skin. But going through all these surgeries I’ve had a lot of disappointments, but that only makes you stronger. I know how bad of a disappointment it is at first, just help her through it, and then once she’s allowed to start practicing on the foot , she’s only going to work hard to be a better athlete. She’s got this, she comes from a strong family, trust me Braille’s going to surprise you ❤️🙏

The same thing happened to me!!! Request for an MRI!!! They told me mine was a sprain and 3 years later I’m still in pain!! They didn’t do an MRI and I tore a ligament and it adhered to the bone now I need surgery. Please ask more questions and get an MRI
Oh no poor Brailee! Maybe it will heal quickly and she won't have to step down. An haha I really like how Gage tried to persuade you into a new laptop 😂. You could always get yourself a new one and give him your old one. It's kinda win win? An I know what you mean about crafts giving you anxiety. I stress a lot too. But it's kinda weird how you really like something so much it stresses you out. An if you can't get Christmas crafts out right now, you could do "Christmas in july".

I would definitely suggest taking Rosie on a long walk a in the morning and then again in the evening. Usually a dog will do that when they’re bored and have too much energy to burn. Our dog trainer truly helped so much! Maybe look into that if it becomes a bigger issue? Best of luck!

Kayli, for whatever this has happened to Brailee, I believe everything happens for it's own reasons, timing is everything! She May have avoided, something in that team, just don't know only God knows. But her hard work will never be in vain. Look at the brighter bigger picture for her life bc as a teen life changes daily.

Your family is adorable. But Kayli between your anxiety and constant stress your need some counseling. My husband also traveled and I had 4 kids, but I never was stressed like you. Please get help. Depression is real.

Hoping for the best for brailies ( sorry for spelling) ankle. A sprain can be really bad. I sprained mine really badly when I was 8 and it only started to get better after physio therapy when I was 13

my dogs were the same way......certain dog toys cured that problem
and a lazer light makes them go nuts
I’m not trying to be a downer but I rolled my foot and had pain in a similar spot. I went to urgent care the next day and they said it wasn’t broken. After 5 months I was having continued pain that was getting worse so I finally asked my orthopedic dr about it. One mri later and it turns out it is broken with damaged cartilage, and damage to my ligaments. It’s now 9 months later and I’m still recovering and might need surgery. I would just be very careful and if it isn’t healing or you just don’t have a good feeling about it, get seen by an ortho to get things resolved. Again I don’t want to sound rude but I felt I had to share as this might help you. I hope all goes well and she heals fast 👍💖

I broke my ankle in the same spot she did .And the x ray did not show the break up .It only showed up when I had MRI done 2 months after the break.The way you just touched her ankle and she felt so much pain still could mean a break.I could not even put a bed sheet over my foot with out so much pain .

Please never ice an injury after the first few hours, the body is transporting all the blood and heat to the injury so it heals itself faster, but when u ice it it blocks this process .....
the elevation thing not as needed it is more about making sure the foot gets blood into it

I am so sad to hear about the injury. I know as a parent, that it hurts the parent as much as the child when they go through things. Prayers for a speedy recovery.

Brailee would have known she had broken her ankle. I've had 3 people in the past 6 months break their legs/ankles and they've all had to call an ambulance and everything because of the pain.
Nonetheless. I hope she heals up quickly.
Not necessarily true. I had a bad break in my ankle and foot, and have also had several sprains. The pain from the sprain was so much more than with the break.

Also, thanks for all the hard work, I'm loving the videos!❤ It doesn't matter what time it goes up, I still look forward to it and I know others are too. Sometimes we put too much pressure on ourselves and it makes stress worse! I feel very behind on everything too, just try doing one small task and complete it or set a timer and clean for a half hour. I've tried that and I got so much done when it felt like I couldn't!!
