Wow, your body has had many traumas. This was a great, informative series. I really enjoyed this and learned a lot. I am celiac, as well as having other food allergies, so I completely understand when you speak about cross contamination with kitchen utensils.
@@YeyOrNeigh I've had a severe infection and during the mri for the FND diagnosing they saw damage / inflation on the scan from it even though it was years ago. I hope they manage your pain for your spine and that you find a way to be symptom free from allergies. I'm on a restrictive diet too. From what I've learnt long term use of antibiotics can cause food allergies. I'm allergic to gluten, rice and corn and trying to heal that . It's really annoying. Hope you keep posting your journey. Really want to see your progress.]
@@sla1xyz Sorry to hear that... it's really tough when you realise how much damage an infection can have!! I definitely think the antibiotics didn't help with my long term effects, but also without them I would probably have been even more sick, so it's the lesser of 2 evils. In my case it's looking less and less likely that my allergies will improve, but I've learnt to live with them. I definitely think an FND update video is in order!! I will try and get that in the works soon!
@@YeyOrNeigh there's new studies coming out on things like too much antibiotic use and autism are related etc. The microbiome is usually not something that people think of when they think of brain and mental health but slowly the science is growing. I hope you don't give up with regards to your allergies, sometimes people heal leaky gut and autoimmune symptoms and can have a tiny bit of the allergin again without a massive response. There are new advances in allergy desensitisation with pets, hopefully the science will catch up with humans too.

Glad you enjoyed it!! Eating out is definitely I challenge! However, I've got quite good at browsing the menu to find things that are likely to be safe for me. Then I just have to really emphasise to the waiter/waitress that I cannot have any of those foods. I have seen you can get cards to give to waiters so they have a written record to check with the chef, which I'm considering getting to help reduce the chance of mistakes happening too.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us, I can't believe how much your body has gone through. Could it have something to do with riding? I'm just thinking about how I know my joints move when my weight is on them.. they go in unnatural positions that is comfortable positioning but painful on joints after a while... I can't walk how the average person would... I know that might not make sense (very confusing to myself) lol. But it's like when I'm in a sitting position & just bend to tie shoes my whole stomach rests against the length of my thigh & causes pain in my coccyx & hips but it's hard to balance my back to not do that... then my hips sometimes grind or pop coming back up. So I'm wondering if when you ride your joints & ligaments are positioning in a unnatural way involuntarily, causing displacements between disks... I hope you're not offended with me commenting... just thinking out loud really. But it's like as a child I used to do ballet, when I'd point my feet they would bend too much & cause twisted ankle pain & would swell sometimes. Or walking on shoes that are kitten heels or 2inches high cause my ankles to feel twisted & will bruise. I am really inspired by you though, you have such a positive outlook on how your body is functioning & so brave to share awareness on it all. Thank you for this series you've helped me understand my FND a lil better. 🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾
No offence at all! Due to my hypermobility I naturally end up with my joints in positions that would seem unnatural and due to the proprioception issues that come with that I don't always know I've put myself in an odd position. Riding is a challenge for certain but it isn't the cause of issues for me. I do have to adapt my riding due to my various disabilities though to avoid causing injuries. I'm so glad it's been interesting and helpful for you!! Keep it up, we can do this!
@@YeyOrNeigh yeah that's what it's like with me, I don't know my body is positioning wrong until I feel the pain or look at joints & see how they are positioned.. it's a very complicated disorder... I've had hypermobility since birth, I know my mum had it too we just didn't know the name of it or what it was & GP's really don't understand pain enough to know about disorders either. It seems like I've been searching for the needle in the hay stack for years & years while they are telling me there's no needle to search for, knowing i lost it there 😂 but my mum always told me to become the expert patient of my own health... I'm only just opening myself up to learn about my body.. it's been more scary because I can't control it.

Yeah and that's not even all of them 😨just the ones that still have impacts today!! It really is a nightmare with cross contamination isn't it!!!
