Personally i would use Shaw as back up to Lisandro and spend big on a new LB

I live in the U.S. I have seen every Copa America game. Martinez has been great for Argentina. United would not have finished 8th or whatever they finished if Martinez was healthy last season.

I think the idea of using Lisandro and Shaw as LCB is preferable to wasting most of the budget on CB’s. When Lisandro is unavailable, move Shaw inside and use a new LB and young Harry Amass. I’d be happy with De Ligt and Yoro for RCB with Kambwala aswell. Sell Maguire and Lindelof.

For people concerned about Yoro, De Ligt, and Branthwaite being recruited and splitting game time, remember it will be a long season if we're successful.
We need the depth. It only makes sense that when you build a strong squad, you will progress through each tournament, which means more games. No one is going to play 60+ games a year without a few knocks or without getting subbed early in the 2nd half.
I've always said that we need 2-3 CBs. We need to do to our defense what Liverpool did to their midfield last year. Ship out Maguire and Lindelof ASAP and replace them with young, hungry players. Get de Ligt and pray for Yoro, then forget about Branthwaite and get Inacio or any other LCB that is cheaper and promising.
Love Cantona as a player. If he gets involved with board stuff or anything else, it will go off the rails. No one knows what he talks about in speeches
