what a lovely little update! it's nice that you took the time to put this together even though, as you said, it's been a slow year. the more the world moves away from the pandemic the more there's this feeling that you need to work twice as hard to "catch up" but honestly we're still very much in a transitional period and it's fine if things go slow, or not as planned. in the last year i only managed to pass two exams and write my thesis while my peers (and people much younger than me!) were graduating left and right, and sometimes it really bums me out to see everyone going "forward" while i struggle to keep up the pace but i'm trying not to let it get to me! the most important thing is being proud of what you achieve, and it's nice to see that you're always proud of your work and eager to share it with us :)
Sad to hear you are totally quitting and I wish you all the best in whatever you do after you leave whatever it is you are quitting. (But in all seriousness, cool that you took some time to do a thing and travel, its kind of comforting checking in seeing how a creator ive been following for a decade (aaaaaaaah) is doing, if only in brief, imperfect glimpses sporadically)

Hey! I would say I've been a fan for a long time but that would be a lie, I came in at around 2018, it doesn't matter. Anyway, I just wanted to say that the way you've been able to make a living off of something like filmmaking, which is already an insane accomplishment in the area, it honestly inspiring. Showed my starry-eyed teenager self that becoming famous or making too much money isn't really success in creative industries, just being able to live off of what you create has enough success in itself. As an aspiring author, that's the dream. Can't wait for some awesome future film content.
