I grew up in the 60s and Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton and Laurel and Hardy were still programmed on b/w tv on weekends, so I grew up loving them. Now I'm a lot older and I truly appreciate the sheer athleticism and vigour they put in to their craft. Unmatchable today.

Chaplin was very well connected to Hollywood elites, politicians and the arts , he was heavily funded because of “favours”. Had a thing for VERY young girls. Buster Keaton was a stand up guy. History will show Keaton as the better all round.
