The Korte Company: Steady progress at Lidl in Covington, GA

The facility is Lidl’s fourth in the U.S. to date and is one of the largest pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB) ever planned in the country. The logistics center features a building height of 55 feet with 80,000 square feet of freezer storage, 140,000 square feet of chiller storage, and 356,000 square feet of dry storage area. Storage spaces are aligned by 164 dock door positions on either side of the facility for the shipping and receiving of products.
