@@BobWidlefish for a BB gun a cheap, low powered springer might be fine, probably, but theres a good chance hes going to shoot himself in the eye. I dont think I really need to talk about the survival knife, because most people, well, aside from you, have basic common sense and know not to hand a sharp object to a child.

Ooh yeah! Peter should get a pair of GIANT scissors like they use for ribbon cutting ceremonies and turn them into a quad!!! maybe even put a servo or a geared motor in the middle to make it able to open and close! Then you just need to get some store or something that is opening to let you cut the ribbon with it or show the mayor how to fly it into the ribbon to break it!!! Hell 2 of the rotors even already have ducts with the "finger holes". If that doesn't work then he should make a drone that flies holding the scissors below it but they still have to be powered and able to cut a giant ribbon at the least. I don't care if you need to get someone like This Old Tony or the guys at fireball tools to make you a giant pair of scissors out of aluminum with a steel edge and a ball bearing in the hinge so you have something that works but it better be light enough to fly, strong enough to actually cut and able to be powered while being flown!

Just asking someone to make what they are creating actually work and perform the duties it was created to accomplish is like the baseline right? Ant that's what those giant Scissors are for right, for mayors to gut giant ribbons in front of new buildings and businesses. Also how cool would a This Old Tony Peter Sripol collaboration be, or if Fireball tools created them those scissors would be able to cut railroad spikes in half, the long way!

that mini quad is flying with it's own weight, rc tank+receiver weight, servo weight, holder weight, and a rc mini chopper weight... and camera... total badass!
A bigger version of that with lights would be great for scouting out abandoned buildings or recovering things of roofs.

No need. Pretty much all militaries around the world use a thing that exists nowadays that has actually been in use since the end of WW2. They are this sci-fi tech called "helicopters"

Lachlan Thomas yes but all brushed tiny whoops (except TBS nano whoop) can’t do that. Even some brushes ones can’t if there not running d shot. Like blheli s esc.

@@skinnyflea2628 It's a bit strange that brushed whoop ESC don't commonly support reverse. Rc cars have had it for many years
C that’s true. The only one that I have seen able to do it is the tiny whoop nano by TBS and one of the big red inductrix whoop.
@@CYDeviant Reverse on a brushed ESC requires extra electronics. On a brushless ESC a motor can be reversed by simply changing the sequences in which each of the 3 motor coils are getting current. So it just requires the ESC software to handle this, no extra hardware needed.

This is seriously some military grade engineering prototypes made out of nothing but cheap off the shelf kids and hobby grade toys! Super impressive. I will not be surprised if and when DARPA comes knocking on Peters door

Perhaps make it so you have one controller with a switch so you can choose either tank/quadcopter mode. Instead of having to use two controllers that is.

The little one reminded me of a Choro Q. They were pretty fun, but they were IR controlled, if I remember. Maybe, Delta server fans might be useful for an air-drone. They might be too heavy, or consume too much power, though.
