@Goona187 I Fricken love Mark's personally. He's so real! His humor is off the charts. You might be ashamed for his daughter, but she definitely shouldn't be. She should be proud of her dad, who built a great business for her to continue if she wants.

Does everything in US Television have so many commercial breaks ? Utube is the place to watch, I was watching reruns of fear factor too and they had add breaks every 10 mins aswell

Man, I hate it when this happens. But this episode was so cool that it has now caused me to three comment it. Apologies for that.
When I was a teenager, in the 1980s, I worked at a service station in my hometown of High Point, NC. Kyle Petty lived on a piece os land just up the street. This will surprise you as it did me at the time, but Kyle used tpo bring his personal cars to our regular little shop for his oil changes.
We had to work out a system to keep us from fighting, where we took turns being the one to drive Kyle back to his house and going to pick him up in his Jaguars. I remember pulling up his drive, in his Jag, with him in the passenger seat and seeing his kids out playing in the yard (including Adam).
The Pettys, in real life, are REALLY nice and won to earth people. You will not meet any of them, and have comversations with them, and walk away thinking anything but the world of them. I have never met Richard, but I imagine the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Springsteen is talking about the town, Mark. I lived in Jersey as a kid. Springsteen says a LOT of stupid things these days. But back in the 70s, when I had him on 8 Track, he was right about most of what he said. And getting the hell out of Jersey while you are young...that's damned solid advice.

Every time I've heard that line "They're coming to get you, Barbara" I can't get the grin off my face. I love the cars and the process of restoring them. The reality-tv stuff, not so much.

It's a 72 satellite, not a 72 road runner. It's a play on words on the dash, it says electrollite instead of satellite. The 72 satellite has the same grill as a 71 road runner

You need to go complain to motortrend about why they won't let you watch the new episodes for free. Or just keep being dumb. Nobody cares either way.
The "shop shenanigans" are not conducive to quality work. In my opinion. If I had a $100,000 car it would go to a shop that took its work more seriously. I like Mark but all the drama in the shop, whether for the show or not, isnt professional.
