Coincidentally, I feel like that section in 4:09 sounds a lot like the introduction to "Your Betrayal" by BFMV. Which was the first ever song I've heard from them a long, long time ago.

In Xrd her standing punch attack (which for most characters is exactly what it sounds like) is her throwing a rose at the opponent, and she also has some attacks and taunts that have her holding a whole bouquet of roses. And obviously she's also a gun user, so Guns N' Roses!
Just because no one else has mentioned it: there is a REASON for the "rub-a-dub-dub" lyric. This song represents Elphelt symbolically "washing away" the struggles and pain of her past and choosing to move forward by focusing on the positive things, no matter how small - "the little extras of life." I've never had this confirmed, but I think that because Daisuke is Japanese, he's much more comfortable dropping that kind of imagery or word-painting into a song without feeling a need to explain it. Japan has an entire poetic form, the haiku, that is all about condensing powerful, complex emotion into a total of 17 syllables. I think (again, this is my personal theory) that "rub-a-dub-dub" and some of the more oddball lyrics from like "Out of the Box" or "Requiem" are born of a cultural context that Western listeners often just don't have. Anyway, fun video as always. 🤘
looking at it with this perspective helps a lot to put guilty gear songs in more context, as japanese language is really more worried if they can convey emotions and feelings accurately than they are with making sense grammatically from the western point of view where words need all that conection and relation for us to understand what is been talked about

Contrasting Ramlethals low emotiveness, Elphelt is super bubbly and fangirly and she's obsessed with love and marriage. Their mother, The Universal Will (also known as Ariels), created both of them to assist her in her goal of creating a true humanity according to her own definitions, which involves wiping out what already exists. Elphelt was created with the ability to fuse with a powerful being called Justice in order to give Ariels the power she needs to enact her plan, but Sol and the good guys patched Justice with a Valentine of their own creation (Jack-O) and foiled Ariels' plan. Despite being on opposing sides, both Ram and El grew close to Ky's son, named Sin Kiske, during the course of the story and now they live with the Kiske family as Ky's adoptive daughters, and they both went to work in the government/military. However Elphelt wasn't able to keep up with her work and started feeling super guilty and like a let-down to the people who needed her to be working. So she ran away, in search of an answer, which she found in the form of death metal, and now she's a death metal vocalist with her own band called Speothos Venaticus :D named after the scientific name for bush dogs, because she's really obsessed with those for some reason lol. In the end she canonically became a death metal singer idol to be able to find her identity. Apparently this song is supposed to be a song she wants to use in her wedding ceremony.
I respectfully apologize for diluting her struggles damn... does this lore go easy on any of its characters? Also I see a pattern in Guilty Gear where female characters are deadly weapons and I can't deny I have a tendency to agree :))))))))))

In Guilty Gear Strive she is a famous death metal singer who writes songs about romance and love. in her arcade mode story she falls in love with Nagoriyuki (The vampire Samurai) And Chases him with a chance to marry him (even if he doesn't agree).
That's one way I could go through Valentine's day hehe, bring on the lovable violence! She seems like quite the catch, what's up with Nagoriyuki not agreeing???

Not really that outlandish after Happy Chaos and his Disney Princess section. To be fair, once you've encountered Baiken, you can easily become desensitised to Guilty Gear bazongas.
